It never seems to work out well when anyone returns to a club. Would like to see him getting another job because he is a nice bloke with a decent past.

That’s what the wife said about me ….. but she never used the words ‘nice’ or ‘decent’, something else instead……the cow.

This Manager's job must be the profession with the shortest shelf life?

Just shows its a funny old game, new owners who brought in a manager with a decent track record, spent big on players, struggling to avoid the drop.

Wonder if they have a bar code tattooed somewhere we can’t see to check their shelf life.

Maybe the problem is further up the food chain. Interfering owners can be a real nuisance if they cross the boundary and start wanting a say in team matters.

Their owner seemed to sign a load of his mates who Ardley then deemed not good enough. A lot of their summer signings on big wages are now out on loan in the league below not exactly looking very good…
Their next manager is Adam Hinshelwood of Worthing, a young up and coming manager who plays very open attacking football. Not exactly what you’d expect in a relegation battle and the exact opposite of Ardley
