Spot on Ozzy its a very decent turn out being the second home game in a few days. I reckon crowds will start creeping up in the last few home games especially if the playoffs are a possibility

more because the team are winning games and playing better than the thought of the play offs. a team will always get a bigger gate if they are winning and the match is boring rather than any type of defeat. stockport have proved that this season.

Last 3 crowds have been outstanding.
Almost top 7 material.

Simple equation;

Score goals & win leads to bigger crowds.

This gives the Club more revenue to pay for the better players & Manager.

I believe we are 4th top in the home crowds this season.

Apart from 80/81 n 85/86 our crowds are almost double what the other 8 seasons in the 80s were.
That's why I sometimes quote we oversupported for a mid table division 5 team.
Fair play to football fans all over the country.
Since covid lock down ended the fans are certainly getting there football fix.
Anyone else noticed how much the away followings have gone up after covid especially in divisions 2 to 5.
Football the drug we love even though it can put ya on a downer now and again.
