I have been a member of NT for years and the vast majority of their staff are white so are they racist as well???? It's so easy to play the racist card.
Maybe the reason is the staff are mainly volunteers. Is it racist to suggest that.

have they ever thought that non whites are just not interested in visiting the countryside. the same way is many whites are not interested in reggie concerts or carnivals organised by some black community or asian festivals. how many white volunteers are there in that list i wonder.

If a white person went to one of those festivals I doubt they would be made ‘welcome’

possibly things are worse now than they were say 10 years back before all this race nonsence came up. when we moved here in 2010 we used to use a largish asian supermarket about the size of a lidl. some items were quite cheap and the staff were very friendly. stopped going about a year back because the atmosphere changed since covid to the point you now feel unwelcome. if the boot was on the other foot i,d guess it would make the national news if owned by white british. its as if someone somewhere is stoking a fire.

To be fair some Asian people were interviewed and all of them said they did visit the countryside …. and didn’t know what the fuss was about….I suppose some people integrate and some don’t, but it must be a restricted life with a culture that doesn’t integrate.

actually have anyone really integrated just for the sake of it. think we all just make friends with people with the same interests when we a young and as we get older we make friends with those who view things the same as us. i,d guess through our lives there are some we have hardly had a single word with as we have sod all in common with them. it does not make us insular by doing this and that includes people from all communities that live along side us.

There have been a couple of tv programmes this side of the Border about walking groups being set up specifically for people from the non-white community (1 for female muslims and 1 for West African men). I'm pretty sure there are walking groups that accept any members so I would suggest setting up these groups could be seen as being racist and sexist.

They always have a problem with predominantly white areas but no issues at all with black ghettos.
I went to see the Yankee Stadium in New York a few years ago, me and my mates were the only white people in a packed subway station next to it, felt as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit! Maybe they should get more white representation in the bronx???

A lot of people have paid jobs that require a good healthy supply of racism to keep the wages coming in which is why there is a consistent effort to create racism that does not exist.

Not talking about personal relationships but cultural relationships which must affect those who are of another culture but born here because it’s all around you.

Someone on the radio this morning in the car complained that the countryside was racist because it’s full of Conservatives and Reform supporters who voted Brexit.
Last time I heard, having political differences weren’t racist…I love Europe the place but had to admit the EU is just a big woke County Council run by glorified office managers and clerks… reminds me of David Brent and the ‘Office’ of politics.

To say the countryside is "full" of any type of person is vague generlized bull excrement that no sane person would take seriously but the BBC would because it has a very strong political agenda.

have visions of farm animals turning their backs on non white tourists when they see em and farting and shitting in their faces. surely councils and garden owners can help by not planting so many white flowers and concentrate on finding and growing black ones especially poppies.

Saw an an interview where students were on a Gaza demonstration and when asked how the problem could be solved said that the Israeli’s should be expelled from their country and sent back to Europe where they originated from and their land govern to the Palestinians.
The interviewer paused and asked which country in Europe they would be returning to as they originally stole the land from the native Americans……they were dumbstruck.
