It was great to see that Louis Stephenson was voted M.O.T.M yesterday. It is particularly pleasing for the S.A. because Louis was one of the young players that we sponsored. His graduation into the first team more than justifies our efforts and shows the value of having a strong youth set up. Every body who has contributed to our fund raising can feel satisfied. Well done Louis.

Hardly put a foot wrong, and you could see his confidence growing throughout. If he's up to playing twice in 3 days particularly after taking a knock late in the game, then let him have a run in the side.
Once we're safe mathematically it'll be worth giving some of the other promising kids a chance before the season finishes.

on top of that playing a RB at RB helped. he deserved another chance as he had a decent run earlier this season and paid the price for being young after just one poor performance at oldham. agree also about giving a couple of others their debuts even off the bench when we are safe as they,ll care far more than other teams kids will.

Some boy this lad Louis.
Plays and talks way beyond his years.
Hard to believe he is just 18.
Full of enthusiasm self confidence and passion for the shirt.
An example to follow for some of the older pros we have on our books that's for sure.

Gucky and the academy lads deserve credit for bringing him through.
I've not seen the Youth team for years but the current squad seem to have a few who might make the grade.
From the clips I've seen Max Storey looks promising.
Lets hope more can make the step up to the first team.
And they avoid going the way of a Luca Murphy or Connor Simpson.
