Those of you who actually live in Hartlepool know more about it than I do. If The Fail is correct that York City supporters attacked Pools fans it got me thinking. Has there ever been any trouble between the fans of these two clubs? I don't recall any and having gone to York several times to watch Pools it always seemed to be a home game with more Poolies than being at home if you know what I mean? I don't actually recall York City bringing many fans to The Vic except for this Saturday gone. Anybody enlighten me on any of this please?

Agree, York was just a pleasant, relaxed day out, any chew never crossed my mind and never encountered any.
Mind you the results never ever seemed to go our way down there over the years though.
The new location does spoil it for me though….not quite the same any more although I suppose the locals in the area of Bootham Crescent will be relieved…and their house prices go up even higher.

They used to be a friendly bunch for about a 30 years up until a few years ago.
Just seems like nowadays this younger generation 15 to 21 all over the country full of Coke n alcopops turn into the incredible hulk.
Watched the BBC video of WBA v Wolves and a few fans having a disco was made out to be middle east violence.

The West Brom v Woves was a master class in over egging the pudding. It was handbags at twenty paces combined with shadow boxing made worse by the over reaction taken by the authorities and magnified by the meeeeeeja…if it hadn’t been televised it wouldn’t heave been heard of.

A report in’t Yorkshire Post last Sunday claimed that the trouble was at the railway station and York fans were victims of unprovoked police brutality. Matt Ulgla was threatening to make a complaint. Strangely he doesn’t seem to have followed up on that…
