And on a related subject has anyone ever gone kitesurfing? Cos I'm supposed to be going to get initiated on Sunday.

Never done it, but really want to. If you search for it on the internet you can get various sponsors.

Lots of it and it is the most fantastic experience. Do it and do it now! Fear of heights doesn't really come into it because you are so high you can hardly see the ground. Besides, when you are in the place and moving to the exit it happens automatically, you just go. This is because of the training you do beforehand where you do a lot of routines jumping off platforms etc.

Do it and enjoy it.

Like Mr I says, you wouldn't believe how exhilarating it is and what a sense of achievement it gives you.

I mean you got out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft for no particular reason right up in the sky and survived.

These days I go scuba diving. I go bored up there so now I go down there.

Oh Hpoollad, one popular myth that I'll explode for you straight off, when your parachute opens, you don't go shooting upwards at a dramatic rate, it's just that the camera man is usually still falling fast and you slow down.
