well there was no money available when crowds were up, had a good cup and trophy runs. it will be up to the new owners to see what they are made of to right the wrongs. its more about finding the really top players who can do a job for us than waving a cheque book around at this level.

I’ve never understood this pick n mix filling the ranks out with loads of bang average players …if you build the spine of the team with quality, the rest of the places can be filled with a lot less average players as you’ve got the class there to carry them.

As it stands now and for the majority of the season when fit the 3 Mannis have been doing the carrying.
That's to much carrying for me. Just my opinion like. A few more additional carryers for next season.

The three Manis, Dodds might be back. I'd keep Crawford, Hendrie (if available), Grey still in contract, Stephenson, would be the only keepers for me.

I think Mani D and Mancini have proven their worth already at this level - if Raj is still here id guarantee those 2 wont be !
If the takeover happens then these are the types of lads we need on long contracts and decent cash. Just hope the new owners have enough initial moneys to keep our best players!

Proof is certainly in the pud that one player can make a massive difference, especially when they are as good as Mancini.
