Got 4 goals already tonight in 47 mins. Definitely believe he will get sold to a Championship team for big money next week. Natural goal scorer very rare breed could possibly do a job in the Premier league. I was told by a heed mate that before he went to County pools showed interest but wanted him for peanuts sctatchinghead

Let’s be honest, if we had signed him we’d have soon brought him down to our level…because when it comes to making a pigs ear from a silk purse we have no equals.
Leaders in our field at world class mediocrity.. sadx

no its the peanuts thing that has affected us more than players going down the pan once they arrive with us. we didn,t need a wrexham type of budget to keep players we have lost or been unable to sign. if there had been a reasonable amount of cash to spend on transfers and extra wages we counld have a side now that consisted of sterry, kitching, odusina, oates, armstrong along side some of the decent players we have at the moment. then there is the likes of clarke odure playing and scoring for bradford but was a last resort for us. until we went down last season we lost players who did sideways moves rather than going up the leagues and any fool knows the reason why.

The only player out of the five you mentioned, Oates is the only one i personally would want back.

Look at Kemp in that league, 13 goals and 8 assists. Imagine if we'd have beaten Crawley and kept him...

Kemp like Armstrong was never ours to keep.
And here we are back onto the guessing game about the budget - none of us know what the budget was, if it was competitive for the league, or if it was simply wasted by overpaying shite players and managerial teams.

Kempy was class but he was on £3600 a week at MKD so not a chance of us signing him.

just imagine the rightful uproar on here if we paid a wage like that and the player was sent out on loan anywhere they could. just wonder how much extra the players who moved sideways did get and the cost of the club to keep them against what the club has lost in being relegated along with falling gates.

Thats the sort of players we need. We get bullied with the current players too easily.

Its mad to think out of the last 3 / 4 seasons our loan signings alone could make a very good title challenging 11. Plus a few regulars in there like Oates and Sterry - Mols etc.. we have had some very good players but unfortunately had even worse which is why where we are.

i fear for us now tbh - missing 2 strikers. 2 out on loan who would struggle to get into the Darlo team. With only Grey and Hastie to lead the line.

Mancini back is a blessing - but in the back of my mind i have a cautious feeling hes been introduced too soon and again can see him tweaking his leg and been out again for a period.

we have to hope this new director of football is on the phone to the contacts he has and is begging for some loans of good quality lads who just are on the cusp of the first team at their parent clubs (but also very good enough to play for us at this level and make a difference).

begs the questions - has Mattock and Johnson gone back and free up the space and wage for new recruits ? Also is Hendrie back soon ?

Some fans just wont have it that we have paid peanuts for the last few years compared to other clubs. A guy that could probobly of done a better job in defence this year liddle naffed off to footballing giants in south shields, odusina wanted to stay but was messed about, molyneux wanted to stay but again was messed about with wages. The get out clause some kept using was some players werent ours, but they werent other clubs either, funny though other clubs got our on loan quality but we couldnt.

Eventually after two years of utter rubbish and anyone and everyone half decent leaving you have got to come to a conclusion, that something aint right. Many of us said askey wouldnt last till xmas under this regime, and he came well thought of, shock horror he has been made to look a mug like all the other managers here previously, even challinor got to a point he couldnt get an away win and had to resort to the likes of fondop. The next guy will also find this an impossible job. York who looked utterly cluelss a few weeks ago are now above us. A club that was a sunday league side some 15 years ago dorking are now one of our hopes they may finish below us, its an utter joke whats happened to this club on the back of one of our best days out ever.

You've got absolutely no evidence to show our budget is worse or better than other clubs though have you?

Look at the state of the team, odusina and molyneux both saying they were messed about over wages. Liddle going to south shields over us. Loan players not staying with us but going to other teams in our league. Every decent player we have had over last 3 years leaving. Is that not evidence? Thats not even mentioning the state of the league position, the amount of staff that have left. We could also pull out we were bottom for paying agent fees out of the 92 clubs.

No one has any idea about the budget but my thoughts are most of the budget has gone to paying 3 managers and their 3 assistants off.

Players come and go at every club so hardly evidence, if it is you could say we high payers because Deseruvwie left Halifax to come to us, Dylan came from a div 2 team, Dixon from a div 1 team.
So guesswork really, not evidence.
