I'm trying to make a list....something like this....

small large
Bacon…………….....80p….£1.30
Sausage…………….80p....£1.30
Egg...................80p....£1.30
Bacon & Egg.....£1.20...

How the feck do I get them all to line up properly???? confised

I want each line inline with the above line....but it just isn't working!!!! banghead

I'm using Microsoft Publisher....but I'm sure there's another programme out there that will line everything up!!!! confised

HELP....Please!!!! :sweeeet:

why not just use the TAB ke in Word...?

do it in excel and format the cells to have no pattern on them and with a touch of tweaking you should be able to get your sugar puffs all nice n neat

As Jonny says tabs ..... or you could try a non-proportional font such as terminal or courier new ...

And can I have a large bacon and egg please ?

It's a spreadsheet FFS. If there are no calculations don't use it.
You have columns and tables in Word both of which are much easier to use for lists.

And while people are at it, could they also stop using Excel as a database :evil:

The thing is, when they DO need to use Excel (hey john can you help. i've got some numbers that i need to add up) they don't know how to.
