I'm hoping all of our games between now and mid January are postponed, might give our injured players time to get back and nothing wrong with having games in hand on everybody else.

Agree with you Paulus but its feckin horrible waiting for a game and then find its off. Its like a sort of moment like where you have lost money or something.

Nothing worse though than fans and groundstaff putting huge efforts in to get a home game on and then....you lose banghead

Inspection at 9am. A lot can happen in the six hours prior to KO. I suspect they think the game is pretty certain to be off.

Having games in hand seemed to help Colchester and Gillingham last season at our expense and if I remember rightly Newport on the previous occasion we lost our league status.

Thing is, you need to to WIN the games in hand. We sometimes experience difficulty with this. ;)

With Pools games in hand just means our goal difference is going to get worse

Looking at the BBC weather prediction. Not looking good. Below zero throughout the night and as high as 1 degree throughout the day. I better get back to my cocktail and 25
degrees this afty.

You show off fancy having your heating on 25 degrees, are the cocktails from Betty's.

Enjoy your holiday wherever you are, you must be somewhere well east of GMT if it's the afternoon. Thailand? Indonesia way?

it might give us a better chance to have games called off ourselves due to being unable to field a team through injries by playing 2 games a week every week. has anyone been available to play every single game yet for pools this season. once it used to be more or less the same team out on the pitch every week even though we lost most of them.

hope its the match referee who is inspecting the pitch and not some other one. good chance he,ll arrive a few hours later and call it off when it was deemed playable. checked my local north west counties pitch numerous times and taking weather forcasts in mind and the groundsman always vered on the side of if in doubt call it off. there is always another better day to play with most of the season still left.
