If I had a cabbage for every time he said "We'll take that all day" I'd have the biggest cabbage patch in Kiddeminster

There was two incidents where they had random hoofs at goal and he almost wet his pants at the near miss that ….’skimmed the outside of the post’…yet the ball landed on the inner box line about six foot from the goal..he was obviously the ‘Ray Simpson’ type of devoted, life long local radio commentator and fan desperate to to look on the bright side.
Their supporters were very subdued and only a few came to life when free kicks came about, the very idea of getting behind the team or even abusing them was greeted by mute resignation from their fans.

Yes the best their fans could do was sing come on ye reds in a monotone tone. Not like ours. As per the commentator reminds me of Ivor ash. Well 20 mins have gone and no score, 22 minutes now gone and no score. You get the drift

Come on Harrogate, you know better than that, it's Ivor Nash - with a "n" !

Yes but with no trace of the biting sarcasm (directed at players of both both sides) that was Ivan Ash's stock-in-trade.

Impressed by former Darlo lad Lambert - he will have a future further up the league.

definitely one we should look at should they go down

he was bad but not as bad as that chesterfield one was. both had one thing in common they were on their own so a good co commentator is worth their salt.
