Another one that got away? Norwood and Fondop tore Barnet apart tonight at the Hive - he looked an absolutley different player to what we saw at the Vic.

That was a thoroughly entertaining match. I really enjoyed watching it with a Shiraz. One important point made is how well Oldham were with 2 players up front complementing each other. It could be just a coincidence in timing. We had a Gold run with Oates and Armstrong. Whatever, Fondop was good tonight but not MOTM.

No, Norwood was rightly MOTM or is it Person OTM in these crazy days? Fondop wasnt far behind hom though. It was indeed an entertaining game - but how the hell did the Barnet keeper not receive his marching orders in conceding that pen?

Assuming we dont go up I hope Oldham do wth Chesterfield--big club sorting themselves out, if they dont go up this year they will be formidable next year

That’s the thing with football, only the odd exceptional team goes through the season on constant form, most have a bad spell, just depends how you control the bad spell….but I’ve always believed that sometimes even the most mundane of clubs can get the balance right between confidence and desire on the pitch regardless of spending with the help,of Lady Luck.

Great game better than the premier crap that gets served up.

plus i prefer them going up to someone like bromley or solihull. as for fondop he was with us a division higher than he now is and we have a few having a better season this year than last as well.

Ive said this for week that Mani D needs someone complementing him up top. An experienced Pro (like the lad we had but didnt play and is now banging them in for Eastleigh). The Oates and Armstrong thing was rightly so how we got the promotion.

Id swap Mancini for Armstrong just now !
