Are England playing?

They just scraped past Malta 2-0 so North Macedonia will provide a stern test. As long as they can keep their knees free from injury with all that knee taking they might be able to avoid defeat. Hope we see a lot of passing back to our keeper following promising attacks to the edge of the opposing box. Nah. Gave up on Southgate's politicos some time ago.

I dont know if they are taking the knee or not. Just me being bitter and twisted for a change. Watched some of the Malta game the other night and was frankly shocked by how piss poor England were.. I mean 2-0 against Malta at Wembley? Apparently Southgate thought England played well, I mean fook me. There's being dipolomatic and then there's being delusional. Haven't bothered to watch this evening's bore fest.

Just stuck it on for 5 mins 2nd half, Hate to say this but there were players i had not heard of wearing the England shirt.
Out of touch with the PL, And that proved it.

England have one of greatest array of talent currently but Southgate will just not let them play attacking football, defend, defend, defend !

Why attack at pace in two to three passes when you can take twenty three to get to the same point, and give the defending team all the time in the world to get everyone behind the ball banghead

Old school, Sometimes frowned upon around these parts.

My take is the more time the ball spends in the attacking third and quickly the better.
