Sober, as usual, and scores to be;

York 2 Pools 1

Kiddy 1 - Pools 1

Pools 2 - Bromley 3

1 point from 9 over the next 3 games - in deep shit!

This York City match had me thinking up in the middle of nowhere and while one day after waiting for ‘recovery’ of my vehicle….I thought…
‘If Pools players can’t rise to the occasion in front of a noisy Poolie support and show fight, determination and a will to win, we really are shafted.
Are they those technical footballers who are churned out nowadays, with the basic skills, look the part rather but like Barbies boy friend have something missing in the undercarriage dept …bollocks…bollocks to go out onto the pitch and show you care because this is a tipping point for me, the time for fist pumping and unfulfilled promises is through….mice or men, let’s see what you’re really made of girls.

This is the first time in my decades of supporting Pools that I am not looking forward to an away game. I even tried to offload my ticket to Bluestreak but he wouldn't have any of it, instead he's coming with us and doing a pub crawl while we suffer, I might even say Fook it I'm coming with you. :(

Hard to imagine anything other than another loss topped by some comical defending.

Dunno why you think that. Obviously Wallace is back, so will give us a few minutes before he goes off injured. Cooke is back and as you know he is renowned for his hard tackling high intensity game. Dolan is available and will strike fear into the hearts of the York midfielders. Up front Josh may be back and will be all action giving away free kicks for fun. Yeah every reason to be upbeat. (irony alert)

So you think Pools will only concede one goal? Stats are against you. If we play well we'll let two in. If we play badly it could be 4 or 5.

All you want them to do is put up a fight, show they care and get stuck in…..frankly, I’m expecting the same old cobblers …Askey scratching his head and saying he’s baffled, while the players look like Guppies still under an anaesthetic.
Please prove me wrong

Extremely difficult game to judge. Maybe it's going to be 4-1
or 5-1 to York especially if we concede a couple in first 30 mins which is well possible with this bunch. The opposite is equally possible if Pools start well and get a early goal. The massive poolie following will effect the outcome in a major postive or negative way. Over to you the players ...Time to stand up and be counted time to repay the faith shown by these increadable supporters time to be positive time to be brave time to bring home 3 vital points.

Seaman, Hendrie injured Ferguson suspended so in comes Brody Patterson. Who will play full back on the R? Johnson played there last week and proved to be a liability so..... feck knows. Maybe Wallace? So the defence will be cobbled together as per usual. Lets hope no one gets hurt by the ball in the warm up. Not feeling optimistic.

Will clogger McLaughlin be playing for York tomorrow, you know the ex Pools player who crocked Luke Molynuex in a pre season friendly a few years back, sidelining him for 6 months, watch your ankles boys.

Fair play Rydale. Wasn't aware of that figure - thanks. Good crowd. Pleased for City and for Pools respectively. Would have preferred it back in div 2 maybe one day?

Based on what I have seen in the last 6 games . York 4 Pools 1. Askey and Sweens had 2 weeks to sort the team out and Askey in his post match interviews seems more and more
Clueless. I am sorry to be negative lads but that’s what I see. Hope I am wrong.

or the occasion and support finally gets to the players for once and put a shift in to bring the points back home. then its the next game where normal service will resume. if askey cannot wind em all up for this i doubt he never will.

Agyemang was poor last Saturday and Pools had more of an attacking threat when Paterson came on. A player on loan who can't outshine Brody Paterson isn't the solution to any of the problems Pools have. I said last week his loan wouldn't be extended.

I don’t know about you guys but when I am watching us on the national league website my heart goes in my mouth whenever we concede corners, free kicks or the ball gets fired in to our penalty area. You just know what’s going to happen. I really wish things where better and could see evidence of progress in keeping a clean sheet and some sort of evidence that we are least trying to improve. At least the supporters can have a good day out in York. It’s always a nice place to visit

That incident surprised me and also opened my eyes to some players at the time.
One of Mols team mates should have done the same to the irishman.
Thats what would have happend with Pools teams of old.

Due to the fact that in the entire history of the bunker nobody has been given a yellow card for predicting scores so once again you've got it wrong. I know you are desperate Kev but there is no need to make things up.
I also suggest you ponder on Snowy's reply regarding Hitler.
I would like to think you are better than that but I'm beginning to wonder.

Was at the game. Unfortunately I had to sit with the York fans. The Poolie fans were amazing....it felt like I was at The Vic. We basically played York off the park.

That was like watching Pools at the start of the season, we were flying, great movement quick one two's closing down the work rate was phenomenal. The noise the fans made brilliant just a shame some arshole had to throw flares on the pitch. Whoever you are grow up!!!!
But now it's the usual question, can they do the same next game v Kiddy?
P.S. I thought Patterson was outstanding and his fitness level superb.

Many thanks for that, Hartleblue. Always good to hear from someone who was there. Did the Pools fans sing the "Winning Away" song?
I must admit I am slightly obsessed by it because its level of irony is so perfect for a club like our's.

I think there is a decent player in Patterson and Hastie, they just need to be more consistent.
It was great to see Mancini there at the end of the game with the rest of the players on the pitch applauding the fans and also Ferguson instead of sitting at home.
