With two weeks off and a few back training, Finney gone.

I predict...

A cold Northern wind blowing and flood lights warming up 25 minutes before halftime....

We never beaten Ebbsfleet home or away...

More of the same. But I will be furious after a break of 2 weeks the defence is not sorted. There is no excuse now. A good coach would have this sorted. I will be steaming this evening and watching with a critical eye. Even I have only so much patience!

Lacey out for another 10 weeks - what a liability he has turned out to be. Umerah and Hendrie out too. Cooke and Wallace (another invisible man) just coming back...

As it is, Pools starting 11 will probably feature 5 loanees, including a couple that haven't been at the club 5 minutes. If Mani D gets injured Pools will really be up the mucky creek without a paddle. Grey will play so Hastie nailed on to make the bench.

But some say Askey doesn't know what his best side is

Well if we get beat today, we'll have to ask a serious question over Askey training and tactics, as he has had two full weeks with the squad.

Not sure training and tactics can get not very good players to be good though? Lets remember ebbsfleet have also had two weeks.

If we get beat there is no one to blame. Can't blame Raj as he just put the budget. Can't blame Askey for signing poor players and can't blame poor players for signing a full time contract.

God we are up poo creek without a paddle. They is no one to take ownership of our situation in our division of fans.

Gotta have some sympathy for Askey, every time they play half the fookin team seem to get injured. Umerah got injured in the fookin warm up. It beggars belief. I wonder how many quality players Askey would need just to get a fit starting eleven. I reckon at least 50.

I hope you are right mate. It’s the rainy season now but I will be in a great mood at midnight this evening if we win. We Poolies must have endless patience. Good luck to all of you who are attending. That reminds me I must charge my iPad up and set up the stream

Mancini said he would be on the pitch prior to the game to take part in the pre match warm up, so there is an opportunity to welcome him back and warm his heart with a Poolie reception.

Because I had a few and we have never beaten them at the Vic or their place... We've played them 6 times drew 2 lost 4 against them

The BBC have updated the team sheet since I looked at it earlier, definitely no keeper and Dolan and Wallace in the team and on the bench, believe me,
I should have taken a screenshot.

Must've spent the last 2 weeks in the Algarve as this is embarrassing, Ebbsfleet all over us, Darlo currently beating Chester 2-0 that's how awful a side we are.

This is just a shambles. What the fu@k has the manager and coach been doing the last
2 weeks. So many players just don’t seem interested. Ebbsfleet should be about 5-1 up. Only players playing well are our striker Mani and our goaly. The northern league beckons. We can’t even get the ball of them most of the time. This side is a pale shadow of the team which was top of the league. I’m afraid if we lose this game then Askey needs to resign.

back to 5-3-2 now

We are being outplayed by a team with 1 win in 13, no shape or confidence...I know Askey says he tells the players and they dont listen etc but they are better players/budget than ebbsfleet

I like Askey but am losing faith in his ability to turn it around

Mattock is an awful pointless signing and the new lad from York looks like a Finney mark 2 in terms of ability

Change the manager probobly get a bounce for few games, then will quickly slide to normality. We have two maybe three players of quality, thats not enough if we want to do well.

It's a complete joke rakxe you would think these players have not been paid or something because its utter drivel a total embarrassment to the club and the fans rakxe

Well Featherstone was the best player in the world in some people eyes. What a waste of a wage. Could have saved it and tried to get someone better in January..
We send Burton and Pruti out on loan, to bring in a loan. If I was them two, I'll walk in January to better clubs, tell the club to stuff it.

actually i was not too bothered when they did equalise. it would have just papered over the massive cracks there is by one of the most undeserved victory pools must have had in their history. 5 goals would not have flattered them but then most of these mugs who played yesterday would not have got a place on the bench without the injuries. who would ever have thought that hastie improved a side and another question to ask is how wreh is earning any money playing football is beyond me. most of this seasons side have been knocked quite rightly by various fans but for some reason he,s got away with it till yesterday. there must be injured slugs with more pace and energy than him.
