Exactly, another racket to be milked by the retailers, kids at the door, so its draw the curtains, dog in hallway…they only knock once.
Worse still it’s my bloody birthday and you can’t go out for a meal for tired kids and plastic cobwebs.

What happened to ducking for apples and carving out a turnip for a lamp….that was hard going!

Let’s be honest, back then the stupid kids died doing stupid things. It was like natural selection.

We used to help ourselves to “snaggers “ from the field next to the track that ran from top of Oxford road to Elwick Road before Catcote Road arrived.

Hate it- it's a complete piss take and seems to get bigger every year.
What used to be a few daft kids has snowballed into madness- with people of all ages creeping about trying to scare the shit out of you- and if you do tell them to fuck off, they all pile in, 'as it's only a bit of fun!' Properly boils my piss banghead

It's completely nuts in the next 3 streets over from mine- get cars coming from all over town, dropping kids off and generally making a nuisance of themselves.
Got to get home early, before some cheeky fucker parks in my space, shut the curtains and keep the lights off at the front of the house - it's like being under house arrest, for the evening :angry-screaming:
