This season is going fast down the shitter...we dont look bad enough to go down but as predicted a bottom half finish looks likely.

Its nowhere near good enough even taking injuries into account and not seeing anything that suggests things will change

How is the sale going?--what is the money situation like?---Whats the plan to turn it around?

We are stagnating and will soon be in a spiral where crowds go down which are in turn cited for the lack of a decent team etc..

Halifax, Hereford, Darlington were all clubs around our size but years of being in non-league has made them smaller.....its going to happen to us very soon...

a win would just paper over the cracks till the next game. the only thing to save the crowds would be another winning run with the players giving everything they have.

Fans on here have said crowds arent really that important now, so when we drop to 3000 it now shouldnt be a ready made excuse as to why were struggling financially. We had an opportunity when we were getting 5000 to 5500 and decided to sell everyone to kick on, we ballsed it up big time.

even at 3,000 it will be far more than teams who are beating us are getting and would be excited getting that number. somehow though they can assemble a side and not half a one like us. we still have nearly half a side who would walk into another side in this division but another half i think darlo in their situation would think twice about signing.

and now fans have got one how is it going to help the team beat rochdale on saturday. if he actually sold the club today to another in a similar financial position to him how will the team start a run of winning matches again.

I think it helps to have some engagement--in a vaccuum of information, people think the worst/make stuff up.

What he said is actually fairly reasonable around injuries and backing the manager--but I would like to see some changes from Askey as the same formation week in week out isnt working, on the bright side at the end of the year the following dead wood is all out of contract...if Askey offers any of them a new one I will seriously doubt him.

Finney, Lacey, Patterson, N'Djoli, Hastie, Dolan
Others also out of contract am sure that will give him some flexibility like Umerah, Pruti (who Askey doesnt rate) Ferguson, Crawford, Cooke etc. Not saying get rid of all of them but none should be comfortable about getting a new deal based on recent contributions

They could start by putting a shift in.

the main problem is that every name you mention only shine when the team is winning. some actually dissapear on the pitch which is the problem we have. they all have a certain amount of footballing ability but so little heart. fergie as captain is a joke but only a joke because there is no one else.

I once heard of a plane described as ‘25,000 rivets in loose formation’ sounds like the team.
