I will turn the commentary off at half time same as last week if Pools perform like they did last week in the first half, it had defeat written all over it.

2-0 to the Shots. Pools play better but the ref makes sure the points go to the home side.

Female referees are much better then men in this league. The blokes hate Pools and are dog dosh. The females are not biased and referee games the proper way. Yes they are human and do make honest mistakes but women every time for me like kev

Amazing that at 1-0 up we are in a playoff position on the

We were always gunna get punished for missing that piss easy chance to go 2 0 up which hit the keepers toe instead of rolling it in the corner.

Clearly Jameson is the better keeper and Featherstone is the answer to our prayers.

We gave the ball away twice in less than a minute and that was that. Just can't keep the back door shut.

First 5 games mite just be enough to avoid relegation.
Just imagined we stayed up last season.
Just delayed the inevitable.
Thats proper honest assessment which from a few on here is passed off as a personal vendetta against messiah man.

Were in deep horsemuck i'm afraid - we need a commanding CB in the mould of a David Mirfin type player to organise the defence and a solid holding midfielder for starters but cant see Raj dipping into his wallet until its too late - well at least we'll be playing Darlo and Spenny next season

To be fair the guys worked their socks off. Never give up but just can’t keep that barn door closed. Far better performance but I’m getting tired of talking about the defence . Just so annoying!

It's not just the defence, the midfield doesn't offer much protection or create anything for the forwards. There's no pace or trickery to take a man on in the squad.
Players who looked decent at the start of the season have gone backwards massively, Featherstone had a good game when he arrived but is now back to his usual nothing to offer self.
It's a bit worrying that Askey is not making changes in personnel or tactics, everything 8s like for like week after week and it's not working.

No disrespect:
Though i saw another rmatch.
Continually giving the ball away, Against a decent team(Aldershot were not) we would have been sunk by half time.
The amount of times players (defensive) out position, I lost count.
The amount of space between the 3 CBs had to be seen to be believed, Shocking.

Could go on and on but whats the point, We train well.

FFS- only Pools could manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, yet again- another Saturday evening ruined by those pea hearted fuckers.

Was very close to going today but decided against it due to the weather, as I've had some issues with my car recently.

Only crumb of comfort from today is not having to travel home after yet another insipid display.

Full respect must go to the travelling Poolies who turned up clappp - just a pity the team didn't refred

This is why after going to pools since 1959 and not renewing my season ticket this year and having been to 1 game so far this season I am all but done with football and will find other things to do on a Saturday like going to the pub and getting pissed like I did today. At least I knew the outcome... a bollocking off the missus and an ear bashing which is a doddle compared to watching Pools throw the towel in yet again, A man can only take so much after all.

P.S I have got a ticket for York and will be going still even though I won't be doing my favourite pub crawl pre-match...the times they are a changing!! :( sadx :snooty:
