Two stage national humiliation. Seriously... cricketers just hammered by Afghanistan so the South Africans will brush them aside. England only in the World Cup Rugby Semis due to luck of the draw... The only decent team they have played in the competition so far is Argentina. The Boks have a monstrous pack and lots of pace throughout. If the Saffers score less than 35 I will be amazed.

I can see a 30 points difference tonight in the rugby.
It wouldn't be in favour of England.

Don't forget South Africa were beaten by Netherlands, a part time ICC team. Like a NL team beating a premiership team.

While Afghanistan are full time ICC team, like a League one team beating a Premiership team.

That is true but I think the "big" teams can sometimes get complacent against the minnows and not really be up for it. They will be fully committed to beating England, today. Maybe if England play out of their skins there is a slim possibility they could beat the saffers. This is definitely not the case in the rugby. Will be a fascinating game.

Isnt it a shame the draw didnt work out better. I really thought Ireland might make the final. When you think about the quality sides knocked out and look at the likes of Argentina and England in the Semis.

You can only beat the teams in front of you, and to be fair England have got better game on game.
But they'll get mullered tonight unless SA do something stupid and get a red card early doors.

Mark Wood and Gus Atkinson did some good. Put the opening batsmen to shame.

England rugby team did pools, throw everything away in a couple of minutes. Was a good game though. Crap day all round really.

Well that was a huge surprise, although not the purists dream game it was a good watch. Shame they couldn't match the power and nous if the SA scrum in the last 15 mins but they showed that teamwork, tactics, passion, can make a huge difference.
How refreshing to see players go toe to toe without all the play acting and histrionics that we see in the so called beautiful game.

just imagine if it did. doubt it would go down well with the players that did not get involved in it and would quickly sort them out. think the fans of both shaped balls feel exactly the same about it and do not even want to see their own players gaining something out of it.
