The Centenary Wall outside the Club shop has disintegrated after the latest rain and winds.

Don't know how to post pics on here but it was on the Teesside Live News feed.

I hope the club will make good- as it was. Partly down to own self interest but also some of the names on there are no longer with us.

Not sure we should be that surprised, as when I zoomed into the picture- it looked like they'd been stuck on with Print Stick.

Also appears I was mis- sold a brick, when what I actually got was a tile.

Fucking Gutted all round! :angry-screaming:

I don’t think you realise how bad the weather was here, I was tying down the new roof on our pergola which was trying to taxi down the runway. Then found a leak in our utility ceiling…..the sea was boiling …if that’s all that happened at the Vic they got off lightly.

The floodlight towers must take a bit of hammering, I would like to think some one checks them out before a game more so at the top where the lights are.

They’d have to be tiles or you’d be building a piece meal wall.

it must have been quite mild though when compared to the day in the mid 60,s when bradford p.a. halifax and huddersfield had one each blown down. no stupid world ending theories then. just a bloody heavy wind.
