Is it just me or should our media man be interviewing these two players on a monthly basis or something on face time. I am sure these players would be delighted to update the supporters. These players must be going through hell and I am positive this would also help them mentally & physically sctatchinghead

That's an excellent Idea Leggie clappp
Surely a quick win for the club-
Relatively easy to set up nowadays and informs fans whilst also checking on the players welfare.

Hopefully if they are reading this board- they might even consider reinstating Traditional Matchday programmes and at least 1 pay on the day turnstile for each stand!

I know that's wishful thinking on my part.
However I think Jamie- (our resident tech expert), might spontaneously combust at the very possibility of such luddite behaviour, what with all the 'progress' we've made as a club!

I think it is up to the club to evaluate how the players are doing, the players are not medical experts. We already know Dodds is out for the season and when Mancini returns to training we will have a clearer picture how his fitness is progressing. Dodds is a local lad, I would think he would be coming to Pools to do some sort of upper body fitness training. We have no idea why Mancini decided to return to France, did he feel he would receive better treatment there ?

Mancini is roughly due back around Christmas time. Cook a bit earlier. Not sure about Dodds.

If he really is back playing by Christmas it will have exceeded all expectations, so it would be reasonable to think he's been getting very good medical care. All the same, straight after the injury was confirmed he knew he had to face weeks if not months of inactivity. Where would you rather do that, at home among family and friends or in digs in Hartlepool?

It would be welcome if Mr Leggie's suggestion was taken up but the players would also have to be up for it and in Mancini's case it would have to be done remotely if he is still in France. Great idea though.
I think we should give Mr L the honour of officially presenting his idea to the club on behalf of us all. Go for it mate.

far too much secrecy in the game nowadays. fans deserve to know much more about present injured players and other things that should not be cloaked in secrecy. For a start it saves stupid rumours going around that are started by those with agendas against the club or individuals in it.

Well Gray that really tells us that we are nothing but financial contributers to this football club. Nobody can deny that we are treated like imposters by the " so called " owners of OUR football club rakxe

I would have thought Mancini would be back at the Vic by now doing a bit of physio ?
Dodds obviously will be a long way off but should they not be doing some form of exercise not associated with their injuries ?

Mancini has being back in France under the medical guidance of Lyon - he had insurance which helps in this matter.

Given the treatment he will have being having i can only imagine it being better than what we could have offered.

This is why we are hearing rumours that he could be back sooner - lets just hope when he comes back we also take good care of him and dont rush him back. Our new physio seems to be a good one and will know the crack.

sooner the god damn better but can one man really change our season just now - i feel like we need a replacement for Dodds still and also another good Midfielder next to him !
