That I am totally saddened/ pissed off/ angry?

I've suffered over the years - I go back to Len Ashurst (good guy), Ken Hale, Billy Horner (look at the car!), John Bird (preferred him as a player) and then things looked up - Sir Cyril, Keith Houchen (OK, some may disagree - personally I think we - the fans - gave him sh*t too early), Danny Wilson, Lord Neale of Aberdeen and John Hughes (and look how he was treated by the club). And I've put up with the likes of David McCreery, Viv Busby, Bob Moncur, Mick Docherty and John Duncan. And then there is the arrogant p*gface Dave Jones - jeez, I walked out his Fans Forum session when so many were licking his arse.

My point? I've seen some absolutely awful Pools teams - and I enjoyed the IOR years. But now? I need some convincing that this isn't the worst it has been, in my lifetime - and I am an old fart so I've got over fifty seasons under my belt.

I won't stoop to blame Askey - I had little time for LoveMonster Curle and the Scottish experiment was beyond parody - but it is too easy to blame managers. And I could not tire of slapping Dave Jones. Mind, Askey was manager the day we gave up our league place to Crawley...

I read today that Pools' fans are too negative and we all recall the 'bus ticket comment' from Hignett - well, he can go do one, and haven't we a right to complain, and are we so different to other fans? No. I frequently argue with fans of teams like the Geordies and Manure that they have nothing to complain about. Relatively.

So, I think I can say that I am totally pissed off that, yet again, I bought a season ticket to bollox.

And so I ask the great and the good of the Bunker, what has gone so wrong?

Yes you are allowed, I like you have been going to watch pool's for more years than I care to remember ( since 1959 ) and this year decided to not renew my season ticket because I knew what to expect and haven't been proved wrong. I could have gone for free today but chose to spend the weekend away instead still listening to the match live and as soon as they scored first I knew we were fooked. It's become a common problem that if the other Team score first we have no answer. Enough said.

We didnt take advantage of being promoted, pulling in 5500 to 6000 fans, never been known. Instead of buying what did we do sell anyone and everyone, can say what you like whether challinor wanted to jump ship at any chance he saw what was coming with this chairman, he even came out in public saying what he was offered was derrogratory, raj thought he could get everyone on the cheap now he is having to go through 2 to 3 managers a season, raj isnt the only one though the clueless muppets he has employed have not helped him one jot. Hignett made a comment on the radio last week said things happen at pools that happens at no other club. We could of kept players like molyneux but we pissed him about now we have players who cant lace his boots.

We are on a massive slide i just hope we gain enough points this season, the list of clubs thats beaten us in the last 6 weeks is pathetic, it needs to stop. I notice york, southend and many other clubs get sold, yet no one gets close with us i wonder why? Price too high by any chance?

The thing is that we had our best start to a season for something like 20 odd years?
Yes we've lost 3 decent players, but as recently as last weekend today's 11 comfortably beat Eastleigh who were sitting 5th.
So why can they perform one week then all 11 not turn up the next. Now I'm not defending Raj here, but as far as I know he's not coaching, picking the team, or deciding tactics or substitutions.
Ideally we'd have a chairman who'd throw money Askey's away to strengthen and we could lose the dead wood. But we don't so it's down to the manager and coaches to put 11 players on the pitch who'll give 100% consistently.

We also played.well in every game up to and including chesterfield.
How many have gone backwards since the season started? And why, crack that and we can turn it around.

We had a couple of decent players holding the team together, massive blow losing them. Still we shouldnt of totally fallen apart add to that umerah doesnt look like he wants to be here.

Every player was bad. I have stuck up for Askey but there is something wrong somewhere. Where is the passion the motivation. Agree about Umerah living of his accolades from last season. What does he actually do. 10 corners and we never looked like scoring. I can’t believe we where the same team in comparison to last week. Grey played his best game last week and yesterday was totally inept. I think Chester should loan us their manager for 1 week. Well organised, played as a unit, defended like trojans, fought for each other. That’s what Poolies want from their team . The manager now has to take responsibility now. He admitted in his interview. I have defended him he needs to get tough and show us his motivational skills. I’m still backing him for now but my patience does not last for ever and with the booing yesterday others are feeling the same way.

at times like yesterday, dorking and woking at home he does not look the only one. yesterdays new low was down to a number of players having their worst games in a pools shirt like the two manny,s, hendrie as well as him. would like to know if the players are folloing orders on the pitch or just doing what they actually want in the style of play.
