Feck me England were shoit. I know a lot of non first choicers were playing but the style was unmistakeable England: fast break to edge of opposition penalty area, wait for their defence to get organized and then play it back to the edge of your own area before passing about amongs the defence which more often than not ends up with a throw in or a free kick. 1st half Aussie keeper had one save to make. England supposedly one of the top sides and they made the Aussies look like world beaters. I was willing the Aussies to score just so Southgate would be embarrassed.Cant be arsed to watch his post match interview but no doubt he will declare himself pleased with an excellent performance. Finally, who the fook thinks Maddison is an international footballer? Apart from Southgate, I mean.

Never watch England matches now, the team have Southgate’s personality stamped all over them….shame really, but he is a blazer and badge man after all.

what makes it worse is the number of clubs that copy the england style as apart from winning anything they have been quite affective. just wait till the match stats come out to warm your hearts. know for a fact if i was 7 now i,d be asking to go round the shops rather than watching todays football.
