Notice Askey signs a new contract, we go off the boil. Haven't won a home game since.

Does anyone else think the players don't look interested, something doesn't seem right behind the scenes. sctatchinghead

Nowt like that imo, we’ve been fucked with
Injuries and some of our recruitment defensively and in goal
Is lacking , they all trying but the quality isn’t there

Grey, Dolan Finney etc should be no more than fringe players and
The fact Crawford is now our playmaker when he should
Be on bench with a full squad says it all.

I personally don't blame injured players for losing games. I'm blaming the lacking in commitment in the squad that plays. Imo they don't seem interested in playing. We've scored 22 goals 1 OG Sam Ling,
6 from Dieseruvwe.
3 from Grey.
2 from Seaman.
2 from Crawford.
1 from Finney.
1 from Umerah.
1 from Hastie.
That's over half the goal scorers who aren't injured, but can't seem to get anywhere near the goal really in the last few games.

So can we stop blaming Injuries, it's a poor excuse for shit management, training and team selection. Most of these are his players who all seem to be going through the motions and don't look interested at the moment.

Solihull were a different class to us. We dont seemto want to do anything about things. We will just slip further and further down the table.

It really is depressing this is basically our level, the longer we stay here the smaller the club will become, look at the likes of Halifax, darlo, torquay Chester etc…

Be likely 2 years in last 8 or 9 we haven’t been a national league team ffs

Have to agree. Hendrie is not remotely an adequate replacement for Dan Dodds and the right side of the defence is now a liability. Seaman can't defend and he hasn't got Dodds' athleticism to dig him out of the holes he gets himself into.

The midfield is even more of a basket case. Wallace isn't fully fit (has had an x-ray for a stress fracture!) and so far we've got one young lad in on a short-term deal as cover for Mancini and Cooke. Things are so bad that Dolan will probably start on Saturday and he wasn't in consideration as kit man when the season started!

This is not going to fix itself. If Raj can't or won't get the cheque book out to find some quality replacements - poached off other NL sides if necessary - we are headed for a season of disappointment.

3,500 in tonight - a perfect evening for a midweek match. The gates will carry on heading south too if nothing is done.

Seems to be lots of negativity on here. Seems quite a few are losing faith with Askey. I didn’t see the match last night as on too late for me but watched the full daggers match on national league tv. We where pretty bad in that match. Where we just as bad in this one? I do have sympathy with Askey regards the number of injuries we have especially the number of quality players. It’s like every week someone gets injured. Having a small squad doesn’t help. I don’t think we should be on the managers back yet although I am with some of you on the problems with the defence. I am in agreement that the defenders are making the same mistakes every week. You don’t mind if there is a learning curve but these guys are professionals . How many times do you have to be told? As regards the midfield I do have sympathy with the boss. How can he plan with the personnel changing every week. I still think a mid table finish would be ok in the circumstances and should give the boss a bit of latitude. I know it’s easy for me to say in my place in the sun! Over to you guys.

Shape up or you will drive out our brilliant chairman n president who saved the club from death.
Any team would struggle when there top notch signings are unlucky with injuries.
Proper fans back there team thru thick n thin.

Average attendance last season 1700.
They aren’t doing it on gate receipts.
So it’s down to a sugar daddy and a good manager with tactical ability.

We looked like a herd of confused Zebra’s running about kicking up a lot of dust but running around in circles.
Their first goal was a gift, as was the second.
Umerah suddenly looks like one of those players we signed last season in droves who produced nothing, is he the same player?
Despite his critics, when Dolan came on last night he did settle things down a bit, because our defence was naive in some instances and whatever the point of last nights tactics were I have no idea.
It appears Solihull have mastered the art of the packed defence and counter attack.

Ya know i was just been sarky.
But this is what some cranks post.
Looks like quite a few are finally smelling the coffee.

Morrisons own brand and Nescafe mixed together with a touch of coconut oil is lovely and gives ya a good boost.
Cheaper than Cocaine.

Instead of trying to fill the team with kids, is it impossible for us to go out and get some lads of national league standards, or have we reached that point yet again of making do.

The ST holders nearly 3000 deserve gold medals.
Soon be no pay on the fans especially at £21 admission.
Ah well least we can say we were top of div 5 for a short while.

Shows how bad our squad really is apart from our first choice starting 11. Mind if someone told me 7 games ago we'd end up with hendrie, grey, Crawford and Finney as our midfield I'd have cried! For me Dolan was probably our MOM and he was only on 20 mins, didn't put a foot wrong, I'd love to know what's happened there because he's surely a better bloody option than hendrie there! Also Aghatise at least looked to take the ball on the half turn instead of facing backwards like the others were. Such a positive start to the season but it's now back to watching absolute bollocks, surely given we are still 6th Raj could release a bit money to help Askey out and get a couple experienced pros in and not kids on the cheap. Act now before we find ourselves way off the pace and looking over our shoulders.
