I predict we will concede the usual 2 or more so need to score at least 3 or more!

I'm going 22 minutes clean sheet and Daggers win first game in three. After we throw everything including the kitchen sink at Justham.

I'm going to be there to watch it unfold....

I reckon a 2-1 home win is a likely score.

1-2 ManiD & Josh take two goal lead then concede second half and hang on like a monkey on a tree.

Daggenham dont score many so might be a 1-1 tommorow. We cant keep conceding 2 all the time .

hate playing any team who have not scored and been defeated in their previous home game. you usually get a reaction to this.

I think we will see our run of draws again start up - JA isnt one for going down the park the bus route but even him surely enough must be sick of seeing a Pools GK picking the ball out the back of the net every damn game !

we need to rush them and grab the early goal - then try and defend and soak up pressure to hit them on the counter

these are not a good side (neither where some of our other defeats but nm) but they do have a man or 2 who knows where the net is so dont be surprised for us to yet again leak some goals.

if we can we need to try and play people in their positions - Pruti and Dolan have to be given another chance.
I cant see JA changing the side tbh - Grey will be impact sub and the new lad may get more minutes given Finney doesnt do enough and goes missing.

As rash as it seems maybe we need to try that 4-2-2-2 we some how had working second half in the Alty game. Nothing much too loose this early on and if it works then great. Easy quick fix whilst we are down on the numbers of first team players.

Dixon (has to be given another chance for me)

Seaman - Dolan - Mani O - Fergy

Wallace - Hendrie

New lad - Grey

Mani D - Umerah

Finney does a lot more than people give him credit for.
Seaman is a worse FB than Fergie.

unfortunately Seaman is all we have in that position - unless Hendrie went into it and we moved Dolan or Pruti back into the defence.
or try Burton again in there

Seaman for me would be better as a right winger - he carries the ball well - is pacey and can shoot. Dont know why he is wasted as a RB

Thats when seaman is at his best, In our defensive third he,s not much cop.

Burton will never improve, If not playing.
I think some put him under a microscope on Tuesday.

the problem with pools is so many players who are called defenders are better going forward than actually they are defending. its the modern game that does not help where defenders are required to be as good with the ball as well as defending. our problem makes it harder as we have only 2 naturally defensive players on our books, lacey and manny o and possibly hendrie. as for burton himself he looks great going forward whenn we are attacking but his defensive work needs a hell of a lot of improvement with those around him in the side.

yes Askey seems to prioritze that over defending....in fairness it is more entertaining and we are good to watch, but needs a little more balance.

Said the same on Seaman on another thread--every wide fwd seems to get the better of him.

Under these new rule interpretations it’s getting stupid how many cards can be amassed in so short a time.

makes having a good season more of a lottery. just what is the reason behind the new law interpretations and what is the end result they are after. non contact football where the bench and players dare not show dissent of an action by an incompetant fool.

The pitch looks good at Dagenham, normally patches of mud around the goal boxes.

Clean sheet means three points but we usually concede 2 goals at least away from home. We need two more goals to get the win.

Clean sheet at HT. I believe this the first away game HT clean sheet we've had this season. Can we manage the next 45?

Haven't seen us play this bad in a long time.
No ideas just strolling about hitting long balls can see this turning out like oxford.

We seem to be playing 6-2-2 trying to catch them on the break. Awful isn't the word. Personally think Daggers have ran rings around us. However Ferguson & Finney made the goal.

One of the worst performances I have ever seen. Dagenham had about 15 corners, 15 shots over the bar. We had no midfield . We won and didn’t concede. The squad just looks so tired

Pleased to get 3 points, but we simply cannot keep the ball for longer than 2 passes, clueless ball retention, just can't seem to keep possession.

The squad just lacks any real quality now, do look a bit lethargic and one dimensional, i dont think ive ever seen us play so bad and win. Just shows you how poor this league is this season, barring chesterfield and a very good gateshead team, their is literally nothing to beat in this league, if we sign a few decent replacements.

Yes agree Billingham this league is really poor. Shame about the injuries but it was always going to happen with a small squad. Despite this Askey still performing miracles. He said himself in one of his recent interviews this is his hardest job as a manager ever. Glad we have him

Done a great job on what he has to work with, injuries were always going to happen its just pools luck the length of them.

Jameson got a booking for literally putting the ball on the floor, while one of our players was injured. We will need a squad of 50 with these referees.

The only consolation is every club will need 50 the way it’s going.
