Pools 1st game at Victoria Ground was 2nd September 1908 against Newcastle and we won 6-0 :wink:

It might have been a different score if young Albert Shearer had been available but a late chance of overtime at the Tripe Works offered him a chance to earn an extra three bob and had to decline his place in the team.jby
