Looks like England v Ukraine via vpn on Saturday night at 10pm in conjunction with pools via audio at 9pm my time. Ladies tennis final in usa I think is 8pm our time. Keep me going for now! Hope the American lady Coco beats the Belarusian. Not that I have a vendetta!

well that fixture is going to be a worry for the ukrainian flag wavers as they,ll have no clue who to support.

Southgate coming under a bit of flak for selecting Henderson and Maguire in the squad.

"You can't knock his record" ? Well the Croatians the Italians and the French put a bit of dent in it. Oh I nearly forgot the 0-4 result against Hungary. On the other hand his record for knee taking and political posturing could never be challenged.

Don't think it'll be a problem.

on the whole is record is quite decent when in his position he dare not lose a game with some and its a national disaster if england dare lose a game of football. its just the non football stuff i cannot stand, but then if it wasn,t him doing it someone else would be following the party line. they would never have got the job in the first place if they had a different personality.

Southgate is a strange one really, great International record at U21 and Senior level (losing semis and finals is way better than anyone has managed since Sir Alf Ramsey imo). Crap record as a club manager though.
Mr Politically Correct so suits the FA, they're more interested in coining it in and not upsetting anyone they don't give a shit about winning something.
Dare say Gareth will be looking to get a one legged, transexual, of mixed race into his team soon.

For quiet, peace loving people, the Swedes do have a talent for producing excellent weapon systems, pity we never bought Viggen’s off them in the 70’s.

would warm to the bloke more if stories of him having dressing room punch ups, boozing on away trips and picking up local talent taking em back to his bed room came out. as a man he,s so middle of the road and clean he,s more like a mechanic robot.

I reckon he just fits the FA blazer mindset, the type of bloke they’d like their daughters to bring home. Nice.

like when cloughie never got the chance. if fans were given the vote there would have been quite different men getting the england managers job who might have been more succesful. if i had a lass i,d hate her to bring a southgate type home unless i had trouble sleeping or never heard his political views to keep me awake.

I suppose the chant about Tommy Docherty's affair with Mary Brown also put him out of the picture with the FA ..what a laugh that would have been straight after the national anthem..
