We've just had back to back home wins for the first time in 10 months and nobody wants to talk about it.
Fat lot of use this message board is!

first half we looked good especially Liddle
there was some fast flowing football
but the old failing in front of goal was there for all to see all 3899
first half highlights was the crack at goal that bounced off the post from Brown if it had gone in it would have been spectacular
a step over by Daly that fooled everyone was his only touch of class
second half we were pegged back for quite a long spell as they stepped up a gear
we once again left the football alone and started to punt
Strachs on for Boland
Porter for Daly
Effion for Gibb
and we were a better side
Matty had some good runs but his crosses were so frustrating even he looked annoyed
he looks good running at the man but when the defender steps up to him he fails miserably
the Two goals should see Porter reinstated as first choice striker
despite Strachs trying to claim it after a Porte blast hit his shoulder and curled in
of the three new signings only Liddle looked any better than we have
the goals papered over the cracks but tomorrows mail DW will hail his boys as world beaters
then he will tinker again on Saturday but a win is a win
Brown had the best chance of the game second half only the keeper to beat
inside the 6 yard area centre of the goal and he hit the keeper
highlight of the night
a chant set up by someone who looked like adg, me and mr edd
ther is only one richie humphries only one richie humphries
the team we finished with was the better team than the one that started but Dw wont see it that way
cheers

Is the shot Brown fired straight at the keeper the one the press describe as "the keeper made a brilliant one-handed save from Brown on 72 minutes"?

He hit it straight at the keeper in the middle of the goal from 5 yards.

Either side of the keeper and even the lucky get who played in goal for Swindon wouldn't have stopped it.

The Brown miss was a superb bit of skill, that ended up with an almighty bad miss.

To creat such a chance for himself was awesome.

But the finish was utter shite. HE ahd created a massive gap for himself in the six yard box, and then chose to smack it straight at the keeper.

The whole goal was gaping for fooks sake.

That's the first sensible comment you've made today and I fully concur.

You could, but you're wrong.

And however much you bleat on you will remain wrong.

So there.

Excuse me, oh fat version of Pele.

To suppose that you would have even got to the ball in the first place, lobbed the defender, set yourself up watching the ball in the air all the time and then getting a left foot on it cleanly would suppose that you are not a big tubby lummox who moves with the speed and panache of a dustbin wagon. Only fatter.

That goal keeper had absolutely no idea of what happened, the ball hit him at speed and very luckily for otherwise you would have seen goal of the season, along the lines of the Gascoigne goal against Scotland that is still in everyone's top ten.

So go and piss up a rope fukcstick   :-X

I am afraid Mr PP, your text is littered with contradictions. You call for Porter to be reinstated, berate Robson, say Gibb and Boland are no better than current players and then say the finishing 11 is our better side.

BUT, then go on to predict and criticise DW for tinkering with the line up before it happens.

Make your mind up!

The lineup was the same as Saturday ie no tinkering. Good substituions at the right time won us the game last night.

ONE INSTANCE MOST FANS REGARD Daly as poor at best yet he gets one goal and starts the next two games ahead of proven goal scorers

we will wait and see

I thought he was one of the best keepers ever to play for Pools.........I feel a thread coming on........
