Apparently the council is offering their trust 2 million to help buy the club.
Because they want to preserve the club.
Its their fans that have put a figure on it.

think their council should help them because i,m a football fan. even if i lived there and still supported pools i,d think the same. however if i had no interest at all in football i doubt i,d want my council tax being spent that way.

Could the Council n Trust get together to take over Pools.
Council owned ground which owners use to hold back on what BP says about our potential never realisticly been tapped into.

We the same size club as Exeter so it canbe done.

Or do we carry on with this under achievement shite of drifting between div 4 n 5.

I'm quite happy watching us win games regardless of which league we're in. We're hardly drifting between 4 and 5 anyway, we've only been promoted once out of 5 having a fantastic play offs and day at Bristol. And it's a fact that since the turn of the century we've spent more time in league 3 than 5.

Playing at moment away at Halifax and drawing 0-0 puts them above York in table.

Not bad after their 10 point deduction.

York will need 10 points added if they are not to be playing in the North this time next season.
