According to the Doncaster Free Press.

Right Back Charlie Seaman has joined Pools on a seaon long loan from Doncaster Rovers.

He only signed a new contract with Doncaster Rovers a month ago.

Looks a good signing, played quite a few League games and comes with a point to prove.
Wonder if we'll see Dan Dodds on the right side of the midfield?

Whether it works or not, Askey clearly has a plan and is building around that.

If this bloke is any good also gives scope for Dodds to fit in as 3rd centre back--playing more aggressively like he linked up with Sterry

I see we're all aboard the Black Pig, along with Captain Pugwash, Master Bates, Seaman Staines and Roger the Cabin Boy...

Charlie is a versatile lad. Played all his games for Donny last season in midfield. Looks like another very decent signing.

I doubt he'll help with keeping clean sheets.

The fans need a voice so there needs to be a mass debate on this signing.

Hopefully can lob a few good balls into the box and doesn’t blow his nut when provoked

yes, every bloody signing in the last few seasons. wouldn,t it be great to hear a player saying that they are only here because it was the best deal on offer they could get.

Merely using the logic of Max Miller, the smutty thoughts are in your mind, I was merely making a plea for inclusive democracy.

just had a quick look at their forum and unlike a lot of times they are not knocking the player. seems there and have a large squad already. the only downside was he by them was a fitness doubt and being a versitile player did not help him as he never got a settled position with them. they see him as a wing back or midfielder.

On a slightly different subject: I note Sterry, Seaman's replacement, has already picked up an injury and cant play in Doncaster's next game.

If he was a race horse he’d have been put out to stud by now.

begs the question of his injury prior to leaving the mags causing him problems either with that or other parts of his body because of it.

He played 28 times for Pools last season - which hardly puts in the crock bracket. ;)

hopefully we get a good feel of the real starting 11 tonight albeit minus Wallace.

id like to see us bring in another CB though for cover and also another attacking MF.

Another striker with pace who can cause some problems is also a nice to have in this league.

20 games for Donny last season, Mostly midfield i believe.
18 in the NatLge
14 in Lge One
10 in the Championship

For a 23Yr old not bad going.

I think Manny Onariase was meant - he's the player we signed from the Daggers.

Pretty sure another centre back will be the next one in - Askey and Kelly are nothing if not methodical in their approach to signings - which is great to see.

That may well be the case, but his fragility is a drawback.
If you had a superb car that was back in the garage every week, you’d have to weigh the pro’s and cons.
