Looks like his interest has died down in pools and is set to take over at York.

yeh nailed on for York

again i think Raj has done the due diligence and told him to do one - or wanted too much for Pools and scared Uggla off.

mixed reactions from most folk with the latter leaning towards we have " dodged a bullet"

What interest? I'm surprised the Mike Ashley rumour hasn't started yet.

Is he a serial prospective new Club owner?

It was Yeovil, then us and now York - who next?

I think we can assume Jeff Stelling is working away in the background to put a viable proposal together. Ideally one with someone else to take the flack as chairman - he's not daft enough to do it himself unless he absolutely has to.

Poor York, Let the games begin.

Will be an interseting watch.

Been there done that, Askey had enough when the CMan wanted his son playing.

Listened to his interview was quite sensible. Apparently they will have double the money they had last year for players.

Though it does sound like it could be some roller coaster for them, if he continues some of his antics.

Coxall sounded ‘quite sensible’ ….and knew exactly what boxes to tick, subsequently plenty on here swallowed the bait with gusto.

Difference between him and Croxall though are one major thing money. He ploughed 450 k into yeovil for no return. He doesn't have some made up offices in London or wherever like Croxall did, he might be a bit of a loon by the sounds of it but one thing that seems genuine is they are pretty wealthy.

The money in this instance isn’t the issue, it’s how a club is ran by them.
If he ploughed so much money into Yeovil, how come he isn’t still there.

He never took over yeovil, he gave them 450k to help them out thinking he was going to be the owner, for one reason or another that never happened. Whether they dodged a bullet who knows, but no one is denying he didn't give them a large sum.

York seem fairly happy with him and one thing he said they will bring players in fairly quickly, few rumours that Featherstone could be going there. I hazard a guess that york will have their squad sorted long before we do though.

Very true but considering he did it at yeovil without owning a club I'd be surprised if he doesn't back york quite heavily.

He will (and is) pumping money in. Think York is the perfect club for him as they have an inexperienced manager who I doubt will stand up to him when he starts to bring in players without the managers say so. That was the big problem at Yeovil where Mark Cooper hated Uggla and didn't pick his signings due to this.
They'll have a good squad by the sounds of who they're targeting.

actually york is the perfect club for anyone to pump money into it. no other club on their doorstep, somewhere thats popular with away fans with top railway links and roads to get there. if i had money and pools did not want it i,d certainly plump for them than places like greater manchester or the south east thats getting saturated now.

Well a few are saying they have already signed 4 players, 1 has been announced and are competing with league 1 clubs for one player, so doesn't sound like they are messing about.

He just sounds gullible to me, ploughing that much money into Yeovil with nowt to show for it? Nah.

all sounds just too good to be true. proof will be where he and york will be at the end of the season.

York are now my outside contenders for shit houses of the season - they will do a Stockport for sure now.

they wont get out this first time of asking - but will damn sure be amongst it. Then id say next season, more cash thrown at it and away they go... L2 - Gillingham putting some team together too.

put it this way too if we had stayed up this season we would of only went down next anyways - strongest L2 for some time in my opinion.

the strikers playing in that league - gunna be some goals for sure

have no gripe about any club like york, stockport or gillingham getting a lift and coming good. if it happens at hobby clubs like salford, vegans and harrogate that winds me up. let the traditional clubs have there day it will not last forever as we well know.

oh im all for the real clubs having some investment and gaining some ground on the football higher divisions im just bitterly jelous Pools still cannot attract one of these sugar daddy benefactors and us have our 15 mins of fame again. Thankfully its a northern club seeing some investment too and a good club like York deserve it.

also whos Kevin ?
