Does anyone at the club or on here have details of the Hartlepool Reserves 83/84 and 84/85 seasons in the Northern League?

I am looking for the dates and results of matches played against Darlington Reserves from the above seasons.

I have programmes from those seasons, will have a look....if I can find them in the loft.

Because of only sporadic reporting of Reserve team results in those two seasons (due mainly to poor quality programme production and a lack of resources) there is very little mention of season results. What I can tell you is though that both teams were playing in the Northern League 2, and the only result I could find was from the season 84/85 where on the 2nd of February 1985 Pools Reserves beat Darlo Reserves 3-0 at home, with the goals coming from Borthwick (2) and Ian Ferguson.
Pools finished 3rd that season and we're promoted to Lg.1, whereas Darlo finished 16th.
I would suggest if you could get hold of Darlo home programmes from those seasons you may find the other results you need.

Courtesy of some digging by my colleague Mr.Horden, from his book Northern Goalfields (B.Hunt) I have been able to obtain the missing results, in season 83/84 Pools lost at home 1-3, but won at Darlo 2-0, and in season 84/85 as I said earlier won 3-0 at home and won 2-0 away also.
