I was queuing in Charlie Dickens place to pay for electrical connector when I was tapped on the shoulder and a woman’s voice said…
“Is he suffering, is it too much for him?”
sctatchinghead I turned round to look then this woman said ….
“Is he coping with it….?
Baffled, I asked her who she was on about sctatchinghead
Then she said… “Mine’s at the end of his tether”
I told her I didn’t know anybody who’s ill.
Pause for thought…then she said …”Your dog, with the hot weather”.
I had him with me and the penny dropped
I blame the weather.

bit like my comment a few years back when a neighbour came up to me and said they had lost their dog. My answer was have you informed anybody and where have you been looking. Give us a minute and we,ll come out looking for it. then the tears came out and they said it had died. felt like saying why they hadn,t said that in the first place but thought it better to shut my big gob for once.
