When AI is up to speed, many many normal jobs for normal people will be gone - meanwhile huge corporations and the mega rich will be getting richer…….

…. But there’s a problem, who are the mega rich and the huge corporations going to sell their products and services to if many of their customers have no jobs/money?

The answer is give them money! Simply and cheaply with no means testing and no hoops and whistles.

Sadly the idea also includes Universal credit for from birth so it’ll mean kids equal kids.

The powers believe everybody works on a laptop and colour the world accordingly, but if AI can plaster a wall or a thousand other types of job then I’ll believe it…..if we’d believed the crap spouted back in the sixties as kids we’d all be holidaying on the moon.

exactly, and thats the reason there are loads of jobs at the moment unfilled and we need those from abroad to do them. the big laugh is the proffesional unemployed are the ones that do not want em here no matter what. we have heard it all before about the robots taking over the world but somehow it hasn,t happened like most prediction we have heard. suppose it gives us something to talk about due to the lack of football.

Can you have several of these ‘jobs’ at the same time?

The idea is the money goes to everyone, Employed also.

Do you mean the houchen thats selling land to his mates on the cheap, AND within the law.

But even if you give it to everyone someone has to fund it, ie the taxpayers?
Why would anyone therefore want to work and pay tax so that those who contribute zero to the public purse get that tax collected as a freebie? I just don't get how that can be seen by anyone other than scroungers as a fairer society.
