Boyes Goes for Undisclosed Fee

According to the Mail. Boyes has gone to Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee. Sounds like good business considering we got him for nowt and he's never played for the first team. I wish the lad all the best.

It does make you wonder what a League One side see in Pat Boyes that Pools apparently never did. Even the hopelessly past it Letheran got a Pizza Cup game ahead of him.

Liked the comment about how Boyes "will no doubt benefit from being around top class goalkeepers at this football club." As opposed to training with Ben Killip for two years?

If someone is doing their job properly the fee would at the vey leaswt have covered the compensation fee paid to Scarborough
for Burton .

Think he was out on loan at the time to Pontefract, sure he would have played otherwise.

The Chairman of Fleetwood (who has bankrolled the club for a few years) has bee found guilty on two counts of fraud and one of money laundering and will be going down.
Can't see them maintaining their league position for long. I'm guessing the bubble will burst.
