Jack Hamilton has got himself a 3 year deal with Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship, which is quite something for a young lad like him.

But this one is reported in the Mail

What the fuck were you thinking Hartley!

On positive side it might mean Murray can find a club there too

Is anyone else slightly shocked though at how bad the Scottish Championship is.

I was one of the few who wrongly thought at the time the Jock Championship level lads we brought in would actually be decent.

massive eye opener as to how bad that level really is - then Hastie... says so much as to how bad their prem is too

really its a 2 team league with the rest fixture fodder. a player leaving a league 2 english club for the scottish second tier is equivenlant as one dropping into non league at gateshead or halifax. going further down it will be more like the northern league.

Yep, the Scottish Championship is on a par in some respects with the National League. There are full time and part time playing squads in both. But with only 10 teams in their Championship and 2 chances of promotion every season, it's way easier to get out of than the 24 club NL.

Teams In the premiership in Scotland would struggle in league 2, the league is a joke. Once upon a time motherwell were half way up the premiership with 3 x Pools players and 2from darlo.

its frightening to think how poor the team is that finishes bottom of their division 2 actually is. someone like trusty would be a marquee signing for them.
