The May edition of Monkey Business has now been launched, and, given the circumstances, the usual mix of spoof ads (and a real one), cartoons, nostalgia etc is more than matched by opinions of the disastrous season at the Vic.

MB220 can be found as ever at https://www.monkeybizz.net.

The new edition will be the final monthly edition and probably the last one ever, although the website will be maintained for several years where all 12 years' worth of online editions can also be found.

A lot of peole have contributed thousand of articles, cartoons, photos and whatever else over the 34 years that Monkey Business has been keeping its eye on Pools, and we are indebted to them all for the countless hours involved.

Obviously this season we didn't keep our eye on Pools as well as we should!

It is, but these days everything is analysed to the far end of a fart within 24 hours of it happening. I used to buy my MB outside the ground to catch up on stuff and find out what other fans were thinking. Now even MB online is the digital equivalent of yesterday's chip wrappers. Nobody's fault, but all good things come to an end at some point.

I actually loved the humorous articles.

I've got MB editions from the 90's in my loft. The glory years. Probably best that they stay there or else I'll just be comparing with the past 10 years. Thanks for the enjoyable content to everyone that contributed.
