Doesn’t appear people are queuing up to buy a Season Ticket on the Bunker, am I right in saying Season Tickets for the following season aren’t sold befor the previous season is finished ?

It's a no from me paying football league prices, to watch raj bluff through another transfer period. Will pick and choose unless he actually starts attracting football league quality players to the club.

Doesn’t Singh need Season Ticket sales to finance the budget for new players ?

Question for those who may know.

What safety net is in place if people buy season tickets and then Raj drops pools in administration anyway?

Are the FA able to step in to protect people's money?

The club still have to honour them as you will still be expected to put a side out even in administration.
The national league are (or were) a different kettle of fish though when it came to getting players in to make the numbers up during administration.
We even had bother getting a 17 year old keeper in on loan, Jordan Pickford, at not cost to us during the Singh administration.
Also, unless the rules have changed, if you exit administration without a CVA then the national league kick you out......

As usual a number of negative posts. All I can say is that at the end of the Barrow game all around me in the CK stand indicated they would be renewing their STs.
I noticed Darlington fans have again started their Boost the Budget campaign aiming for £150K and have already got over £50K. They have reached their targets in the past two years, hats off to them.

You’ve got a point there, no use expecting anything if the season ticket money ain’t there to finance it, no manager or no players either.
Harsh reality is the money’s needed to finance the things folk are demanding.

what happened with money years ago when season tickets were rarer than a pools clean sheet. the fact is i never knew what one was until the 70,s when a mates old man bought one for halifax town. would we be in deep shit if nobody bought one but got 4,000 paying on the day match on match where at the end of the day the club would receive more money as there is no free games.

Raj Singh has already told the manager the budgethe can have. Raj wouldn't lie to us on that would he? So if people want to be taken in by him for a 3rd consecutive year fair enough. But as long as Pools fans keep piling money his way the longer he will keep the clubs price too high to sell, while we continue to watch the same shite as last season.

Last season we had what was it 8 players on a trip to portugal? So it's not like we went out and splashed the season ticket money early doors. Use some of the profit from last season to get a decent team instead of expecting the fans to fund it.

Parachute payment is supposedly worth around 400k, spend some of that on good signings and the ST sales will surge. There's also money still coming in from the commercial side, so really it's not the case that we can't sign players before we bring in ST sales.
Raj needs to show signs of backing JA and the support will follow, expecting fans to kick start the recruitment drive is taking the p*ss imo.
As things stand I won't be renewing.

we will not be paying transfer fees for a start and that amount of money would pay the wages of 4 players for the season if they were even on close to 2,000 a week which will not be the case.

Any player currently on that sort of money won’t be availed on a free transfer.

But they don't have to pay a year's wages up fronteither so the 400k plus commercial and sponsorship moneys are a good starting point. Regardless of ST sales there's still gate money comes in regularly.
I'd say the parachute payment puts us in a far better financial state than many other clubs in NL looking to sign players for next season. I know it's a lot different for relegated PL clubs, but the basics are the same we get a financial bonus that 22 other clubs don't.

We averaged about 4900 for our 2 seasons in the EFL.
Must be well above tve projected budget break even figure. And when a few fans winge about how greedily n badly the club is run.
You get told its not applicable to give me greef or i will pop your club.

We cudent attract decent league players while in the EFL so no chance of it happening while we back in the NL shite.

yes, and how many times in a bad winter with games called off clubs moan about the lack of income coming in to run the club on a day to day basis. if every season ticket holder came to every game the club at the end of the season would be better off financially if they had never bought one. the only way any club gains is from those who buy a season ticket and pick and choose games. when i come to the vic i always sit in the same single seat thats always available, but those who sit on my right only are there half the time i,m there.

You'd have to be an absolute mug to buy a st with Raj threatening the possibility of administration.
For a bloke who's done so well in the business world he seems incredibly naive about running a football club, threatening the fans (lifeblood of the club) and winding up previous managers ahead of games is recklessly stupid

Very few successful business people have a conscience, that’s how they got where they are.
