If the crowd really is a 12th man (or in today's society - 12th person ) then we will win comfortably tomorrow

It’s the 12th man’s dumb gobshite cousin you have to worry about, the impatient ones.

I believe the supporters are key to getting this win. I read an article on the Crawley manager he is really fired up and self confident. Be under no illusions this is not going to be an easy game. I am 100% certain that Crawley are going to attack us from the beginning exploiting our weak defence to get a quick goal. We cannot afford to just sit back and soak up the pressure because as we all know Pools just cannot do it. We have to attack them from the off. Something we haven’t seen to much this season. We need to be on the front foot and physical with our interventions. Our passing must be a lot better and we need men in the box at least 4. Our wing backs need to get forward and get as many crosses in to the box as possible . To be honest I would probably start Wes McDonald from the beginning. As regards defending we need to defend in numbers, and attack in numbers. Very hard to do but we need to show intent. We got to work our socks off and when we lose the ball hunt in numbers to retrieve the ball back. The crowd needs to do there bit by constantly encouraging the team and maybe a bit intimidation to the young keeper. Sorry I don’t care. Every player should be exhausted by the end of the match and I believe if we play like this and have a little luck we will win. Please, please Pools do not sit back. I want to see 8.9 and 10 for every players ratings on Sunday/Monday . Anymore tips lads over to you and I want to hear you those intending the game to be heard in Thailand. Enjoy your day

This won't be an easy game, but there again none of the last 10 (maybe more?) have been easy. The facts are
1 - We are unbeaten at home since Askey took over
2 - Crawley have won only one away game all season
3 - Outside of the top 8 in League 2, only two teams have scored more goals than Pools this season

Let the fans & the Pools players show that Never Say Die resolve today for the whole match, next week against Barrow & at Stockport

If one isn't in place already, Raj should pay a "staying in League 2 bonus" which should be self-financing, although to Pools fans this is more than just about money

the 12th man can giv e all the encouragement they can but without any positive response from the team to keep em going they might well not bother. sing and shout as much as. we like but a lacklister display from the players will quickly drown it out. we need to dictate on the pitch and not allow crawley to do their job of silencing a big crowd.

Realistically our team are footballing contractors. Some care, some just want the money and some have the heart of a field mouse.
But, if they don’t respond to a full house, the passion, the desire to win then they shouldn’t be playing the bloody game….players need to realise supporters can’t move on like Premiership TV addicts, we are here for life, we’re married to it for better or for worse….. !
This is a golden opportunity to evaluate who has the heart for a fight and who’s just there making up the numbers.

Hit the nail on the head. The twats couldn't care less about us and more I think about interviews, I'm sick and tired of them saying Brilliant and Fantastic support when it means nothing to them.

The team never turned up yesterday. The support has and always will be fantastic. There’s one man who sat drinking his vodkas in the ground yesterday who is responsible for gambling - and losing - with our football league status. His name - Raj Singh.

Considering what was on the line yesterday that was one of the most insipid performances I've seen. So players needed to take some of the blame, we know they are not of the standard required (thanks a lot Raj) but I expected some fight.

That's a really big question, Snowy. I suspect most of us would like the truth in any answer.

no self respect even if they had none for the manager , the club or the fans. the reason i could have gone yesterday but decided on the barrow game instead. its bad enough going down with a whimper but even worse against a side that are as unpopular outfit as you can get throughout the league. i could just about take barrow dumping us out but not them. was more annoyed by it than upset to be honest and age has not quietened my temper.
