Ok for a bit of fun who wants to predict the results and points tally for Tuesday night. We will see who is correct. Please note those with a degree in fortune telling are not allowed to participate. I will go first. Harrogate 2 Walsall 1, points 45, Crawley 0 Colchester 0 points 42, Salford 2 Pools 0 points 39. Assuming Colchester are almost safe and of course the big one on Saturday to come.

cannot see that being all that wrong. Not the end of our season if you are right. Thats if we beat crawley and go on to beat barrow in our next two home games when crawley have their 2 away on the bounce.

My turn, I do have 3 degrees actually, None in fortune telling.

Harra 1 Wally 2, Creepy 1 Collie 2, Sally 1 Angus 2.

Bit of a trend there, Not having a bet on those so next day i can say i wish i had.
Harra 42
Creppy 41
Angus 42

All up in the air again, Its a funny ole game.

I agree with harrogatepoolie except Crawley will beat Colchester 2-1 so after Tuesday's final whistles Pools will be five points adrift.

I also have Three Degrees (playing right now) and I give you some of their music, most appropriate;

1) WHEN WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN
2) YEAR OF DECISION
3) GIVING UP, GIVING IN
4) MAYBE
5) IF AND WHEN
6) JUMP THE GUN
7) 1 WON'T LET YOU GO

My take on all this. Pure subjection or whatever but better to have something to cling on to than do a Scunthorpe. Interesting and ironic that at this late stage Luke Armstrong is doing his bit to help save Betty's Boys. One Omar Bogle must have fallen out with someone at Pools to leave it until yesterday to have his best game. Dunno what will happen on Tuesday but pretty certain that having Oats do the damage in that semi in the National League at Stockport that they will return the favour and make it look like DC made the right decision leaving us to go there. You can bet your boots that he will not mute his celebrations if as looks likely his lot will be right up there and Pools dreaming of parachute money which is earmarked for elsewhere already. My heart says we stay up my head says we go down. So who is the best bet to save Pools?

Bribe the referees in the four games.
Play Mo in midfield without Feaths.
Spread rumours in Pools opponent's dressing room that our players have crabs and headlice.
Recall the 1972 team who recorded Never Say Die and Who Put Sugar In Our Tea? Plus recall Neil Warnock until the end of the season?
Or put our trust in John Askey and hope that his cool measured response after yesterday's game proves to be right and we have had the one we were due after an eight game unbeaten run.
So I will finish with that bloody awful stock phrase infecting football..."We go again on (respective day)."

imagine this was a middle of the season affair - we come off the back of an 8 game unbeaten run to loose away to Newport...MEH ! it would of been done and forgotten about by now with some echoes into the week of how it could of been etc.... but such as this season has been the timing is about as bad as it could get. Promotion hunting teams to play all away from Home and still those around us with easier run ins still gathering points on the board ! im assigned to feel a little less confident in us staying up now tbh... cant see us getting the results we want nor need the others to get anymore ! lady luck has well and truly fecked off !

Creepy 2 Colchester 2
Salford 3 Pools 0
Harrogate 1 Walsall 2

only saving grace is.. i can see Harrogate's run and luck coming to an end aswell and Walsall getting something from them !

Hi Kev Pooles gloves. Probably go towards paying the debt off to previous owners.

Well I wasn’t far off

Pools lost 2-0 as I said
Crawly drew 0-0 as I said
Harrogate won 3-0 and I said 2-1
Not that any of this helps Pools
