Doesn’t appear to be in Askeys plans, doesn’t even get on the bench ?

I think we would have to be down to the bones to even consider him, never mind play him.
I wonder if we could sue Hartley for industrial sabotage. banghead

Makes a change from the days when Curle didn't have enough players to fill a bench. What an utter shambles the first half of the season was.

He was playing regularly until late January but no appearance since. Total of 22 appearances to date this season.

Most of those appearances were as as sub. He only made 2 league starts for Curle. No achievement being a regular sub at a time when Pools couldn't fill a bench.

Sub…? He played like he should have been depth charged.

a case of what he did before we signed him was a bit blown out of proportion and we expected something that did not exist.

TBH Hastie didn’t really do anything always showed promise but never fulfilled it.

Unfortunately for us... come the close season we are likely to see the Scottish lads appear for Pools once more - unless somehow they all negotiate moves away before pre season.

can imagine the likes of Paterson and Hastie wanting to be back up North but id also imagine them getting some game time in friendlies to see what they are all about. Given we may end up in the NL - these lads might actually be half decent at that level.

Askey will have his own plans and doubt any of them will feature tbh come the start of the new season.

Think Murray has impressed under Askey enough to be around next year.

even if he hadn,t improved after seeing hartley attempt to play he suddenly looked better overnight.

bugger me forgot about him (Hartley)

cant see him kickin another ball for Pools this season - Askey doesnt risk things and knows who is capable at this level !

why wasnt Dolan on the bench at the weekend - the fear is , we are very very short at the back still. Should we loose Murray and Sterry still be out we would be knackered again !

thought Kiernan played okay when he was put out there at RWB few weeks ago - better than Foran as hes got worse the last few times ive seen him play - certainly one that will be quickly forgotten (unless he crops up with a bullet heading winning goal at Stockport to keep us in the league) !

The player who broke through at Motherwell showed a lot of promise, which he ultimately never fulfilled. Moving to Rangers helped his bank balance but he'd never get the game time to help his development.

its a shame because we all thought this was the direct if not better replacement for Mols.

usually signing a player from one of the top 2 Scottish clubs has its promise and i expected much much more.

if anything he was touted as a big signing for us.

Supposed to be on £1500 a week plus shared flat. To be honest he looks the part but just shows how appearances can be wrong. It’s going to cost us to get rid of him as I think the best he will get is a sScottish club and I doubt they will pay that sort of wage.

He's looked unfit and disinterested most of the times I've seen him play - and that's unfit by Keith Curle's standards! Every player got offered a fresh start when Askey came in, but he's not even made the bench. Says it all.
