Prior to Askeys appointment we where playing like a Northern league side. Maybe at worst slightly below Darlo. Where do you think we are now? I
Will start first. Somewhere between top 6 Conference and bottom 4 league 2. Discuss

We would be third to Celtic and Rangers and above Cove Rangers.

We are playing top 7 playoff Conference to bottom 3 League 2. As said above, with a massive turn around in recent weeks

The difference is remarkable. This is one of our toughest periods for games all season. We could of won at Bradford, we got a result at tranmere, held northampton, beat Swindon although their form has plummeted. Thing is we now have to keep it going, we just can't afford to get beat at Grimsby now.

would be interesting to see a league table from the last 6 games. some of those currently in the play off positions might be pushed to have done better seeing the opposition we have played. if we had done this all season we,d be safely in mid table at least with hope for next season. shows clowns should stick to the circus and leave football alone.

Swindon second bottom, Colchester bottom, pools 12th, Crawley 3rd.
Northampton top, Carlisle and Stevenage both below us.

I made it somewhere between 12th and 15th, just looking at BBC Sport and not working out the 6 game goal differences.

Anyway, Mr. Accy's assumption is bang on and the other (under)estimates are way out.

Interesting that the form of most bottom 6 sides apart from Colchester is as good or better than Pools and better than a lot of teams in the top half of the table. They can't all keep it up, but Colchester fans have the most reason to be worried.

Colchester for me to plummet - but Crawley may have ran their little race too soon and hit form at the wrong time.

its our turn to get a run of results and see us push past even Harrogate ! UTFP !!!

Crawley have had a lucky run of fixtures against out of form sides like Wimbledon, Doncaster, Rochdale, Harrogate and scraped a draw Vs Grimsby. First real test they had was Mansfield and they got stuffed. So the form table is a bit of false reading to me.

We could have had four points more in those six games and therefore would be second top, so I would say top half comfortably.
If we survive, back Askey to retain and strengthen, and then we should be capable of challenging.

were unlucky with the 2 games againsy harrogate by having to play em with a weakened side and players out of sorts and position. they got us just at the right time where we got one point when we could have got 6. doubt that stockport shambles would happen now if we were playing them this friday. possibly we,d do harm to their promotion challenge. its hard to believe what we are seeing now is happening in the same season as some of the earlier stuff was.
