Rogers & Potter join the Managerial Merry Go Round, no doubt with lots of money in their pockets.

They will probably swop jobs, failure is normally rewarded in this occupation.

You can never feel sorry for them…unlike most jobs they hit the pay off jackpot and someone else is always willing to give them a try.

Cove Rangers got beat 5-0 at home on Saturday, lost their last 7 games, they have conceded 70 goals in 31 games most of them under Hartley, i think Hartley could be shown the door.

Yep they won’t going to bed thinking if they can afford their monthly mortgage payments, both will pick another job up probably in the Championship.

Rogers will find another Prem job no doubt - like most managers do this time of year he will take a nice long summer vacation ... wait it out to see who comes up (or down) give it a month or 2 for the first sackings then will pick where he wants to go - same with Potter.

Must be one of Singhs worst decisions ever in business, if we go down it’s all down to Singh due to his ill conceived managerial appointments not just 1 but 3, let’s hope number 4 works out for us.

And dont Forget the bizarre quote of KC is the best manager ever under Sing. Even better than DC.
A few hours later Pools 0 Stockport 5.
Not gunna get automatic or play off promotion are we.
Even if we scrape up its been a disastrous horrendous season of major under achievement.

How many languages can a British manager speak, most foreign speak at least 2, I believe Mourinho could speak a few. It shows when the subs come, one of the coaches is stood with sub with a tablet giving instructions.
Mayes could be next after last nights result, Potter or Rodger’s might slot in at West Ham ?

When i heard about Lampard i thought it was a joke. As i recall his managerial career has not been very successful (?).
What is it about him?

its all in the name like a few others like gerrard. there are a few foreign managers the same whose performances have not matched their hype but get employed quickly yet again.

Well if Hodgson has made a come back, Mourinho tipped to return to Chelsea.

Dean Smith appointed at Leicester till the end of the season, sacked from his 2 previous jobs the last recently from Norwich, Craig Shakespeare along with John Terry as his assistants.
If I had been sacked from my last 2 jobs for failure I think I would found it difficult finding another one.

What have these Chairmen got between their ears?

I thought Big Sam was well past his sell by date.

There are so many good Managers in lower/non league that would give a boost to some of these so called BIG CLUBS.

its not just at the top its at all levels. it does not seem 5 minutes since challinor was at pools but i heard somewhere he was 24th longest serving manager in the league. the only joke this can be is a sick one.

Graham Alexander appointed the new manager at MK Dons, he has been sacked or left every club by mutual consent, hardly a successful track record, football is a funny old game.

Chairmen sack managers.
That's what they do.
24 managerial changes during EFL 2 last season alone.
Large percentage of those will have been sackings.
Would appear Mr Singh is not the only one who makes mistakes.

The point I am making is as it’s been said before in most professions if you got sacked a few times you would find it difficult to find another job, not in football.

Interesting one, their chairman was saying how he fu ked up taking a chance on an unproven manager and he was going with experience this time

Suspect they will have the largest budget in the division and would be a serious fuck up if they didn’t go back up

In football management it seems the more clubs you’ve had, the more ‘experienced’ you are….it’s the only business in the world that clings to that ludicrous belief.
Multiple sackings is a sign of something to be kept quiet in all other walks of life.
A good player does not necessarily make a good manager, totally different jobs…but the owners of clubs cling to this theory like a drowning man to a piece of wreckage.

and the wise good player gets a job out of the game or in the media where they do not get found out wanting as so many do when they turn their hand to football management. knowing anything is far better than being good at something before you take it on and so many lack patiance with players whose ability is far less than theirs was. same with foremen and managers on the shop floor.

Lampard must be the luckiest going, made a fortune from it and I bet when he leaves Chelsea again he will get another job. Gerrard got found out at Villa, easy enough to manage a team in league where there it is a 2 horse race every season, I can’t see him getting another job.

What next for Allardyce?

Is this the end?

Or is some brain dead Chairman going to re-incarnate him?

I don’t believe Allardyce exists….I think he’s a franchise and there’s loads of them getting football related jobs at all levels of the game.

He's the bookies favourite to still be the Leeds manager when next season starts, so he might still have a job, despite relegation.
