Very impressed with him his work rate and enthusiasm is rubbing off on all of the team.
Watch the highlights after he scores running back to the centre circle that is a lad who is giving everything.
So here we go 7 games left and we have the momentum just look at what we were saying 6 weeks ago about the upcoming fixtures in march and with better finishing and refereeing we would have won 3 of them tranmere, northampton, orient.
So up next Grimsby watched these a few times they play good football and create a lot of chances so a very hard game but Crawley have Bradford at home and to be honest looking at Crawley carnt see them getting many more points with their run in.
Anyways hats of to Askey and the coaching staff for what they have achieved in such a small time at the club.

Goes to show the benefit of playing a stable team. Initially Jennings worked hard but missed good chances, now hes working the keeper, hitting the bar or scoring. Fine margins but I do expect him to keep scoring in this team, a great signing.

Grimsby have won 4 at home in league and won 8 away. They have more points away than home. They're a decent team but if we play like we have been, we can beat them.

I could be wrong here, but didn’t Askey sign him on loan at Macclesfield and he scored quite a few goals….?

Fair comment. He's getting better with every game.

Correct, he scored 14 goals in 16 games before getting injured.

the reason we got him in the first place as he had lost his goalscoring touch at stockport and ended up as sub coming on after 85 minutes. laugh is they have spent a wad of cash to replace him and have only one goal to show from the two signed. shows that money cannot guarentee success when looking for players and i have a feeling recruitment will improve now we actually have a manager. he might not have been an askey signing but his type of signing.

Have we signed him or is he a loan to end of season sctatchinghead If on loan he probably won't be allowed to play at Stockport which could be a vital game.

DC said that Jennings will give his all when we signed him in Jan (i said DC was doing us a favour) he knew fine well he would come here and at least perform - hes done that and beyond - still alot left in him too and wouldn't be surprised to see him notch at least another 3 or 4.

Askey rightly said too in one of his first interviews that he knows Connor well and he will run into the ground o match days !

Despite Curle being a useless manager he did sign some really decent players and a few duds.

got to remember also that he missed a season due to being diagnosed with cancer and recovering from it coming back last season. if any player deserves to finish his career on a high then he does.
