His goals have dried up thanks to Curle’s demented obsession with playing him up front by himself without support. Week in week out, the same pointless barrage up field of hopeful punts to a centre forward always with two defenders for close company.
This isn’t tactics…it’s madness and infuriating to watch. Clueless.

He has Umerah alone in a third of the pitch in the that is the opposing teams side waiting for speculative balls that never arrive and even if you succeed there’s no one there to head it on to .
So the tactics appear to a 1-9-1 formation with a gaggle of headless chickens hoofing up to Umerah who’s supposed to chase after them.
It’s startlingly obvious that we leave opposition players in acres of space to receive balls yet all teams are either man marking or onto us like a shot the minute we have the ball, it’s lunacy.

do not see where there is that big a problem. he is going through a spell all strikers have where they dry up. at least others are scoring and his workrate and effort has not dropped. both him and jennings are putting a shift in and there are goals in both of them. its just a case there is not much time left to get em both scoring regularly again.

suspect he has a reputation among referees as someone who 'puts it about', and as such they are giving him less and less when he is fouled.
Good player at this level, but would benefit from more mobility around him

for me he is sinned against as much as he is the sinner. being an attacker he is never going to get the benefit of the doubt when its easier to give the free kick to defenders as its less likely a goal will be scored from it, doubt many league officials will get a medal for bravery.

He sould now and again go out wide, See how many CBs follow him out there.
Also leaves a CB marking space (that freaks them out)

Josh has very nearly being on the end of a few good balls into the box now we are starting to play ball again on the deck...

he rolled his man last game and should of put the ball square to Kemp for a tap in - he does selfishly make the wrong decisions sometimes for me but thats why hes playing at this level - should he sort a few things with his game at this level there is no reason why he cant be a decent enough L1 striker.

hes due a goal and if he puts his head on some more crosses then we might just see him score this weekend.

i have a good feeling he will be wanting to get as many now before the season ends
