Why…? I’m no fan of Newcastle…….. but Man U? The club dependent simpletons latch onto to bask in their faded glory.

Better Newcastle do the more ‘Hartlepool mags’ there are, bounders were unbearable in the mid 90s

The elusive Hartlepool Mags would never go to Pools anyway and ‘Klingon’s’ who appear when a club has success melt away like a snowflake in the Sahara…..mind you, over the years the so called ‘big three’ have sent plenty of really decent players out on loan to all ends of the country but we never get any really decent players on loan….. must be because we’re too close to home and should know our place.

Yes but they are very irritating up close

Anyway 2-0 and counting not a Man U fan normally but hope they bang 4 or 5 past the bounders

Well really good teams can come back from a two goal deficit...

It’s always said Man Utd fans at a game in London can be home in half an hour. The original Klingon club for the insecure.

Reading not your strong suit….
There are very few clubs I would want to see lose to Man U, Newcastle are one of them, hth

Mickey Barron
Christian Burgess
Adam Jackson
Jordan Hugill
Luke Williams - 2014 loan vintage
Charlie Wyke - He hadn't filled out at the time, but he was better than what we had.
Dan Dodds
Roy O'Donovan - 9 goals in 15 appearances
Kevin Kyle - not one who is often remembered, but we'd be glad of his physical presence now.
Steve Harper

We were glad of them all at the time and if they'd have been preserved in ice/aspic/chryto.... whatever, we'd be glad of them now.
Of course, there's been lots of others, but that's the loan system: you win some, you lose some.

Hugill was a loan from Preston. We paid a fee for Dodds, he was never a loan. Of the rest the most recent was?

Most of them I’ve forgotten, and apart from Steve Harper I can safely say when the loans go out every year from these clubs we never get anywhere near the pick of the crop….probably because we’re in their kingdom and should know our place.

Kevin Kyle was on loan from Coventry.
