Stats say 1-1 draw but these draws are going to be no good. I sometimes think we are at this stage that it must be all out attack to win as the 1 point draw is not enough.

If the lads mentioned were still at the club in their heyday form, we wouldn't be struggling, especially if the half back line was NEWTOM, MOORE and STAMPER.

Stamper! What a brilliant name for a defender. Just as good a name as that Italian master of the dark arts Gentile

A pitch side burger van may do the trick.

Bogle did his usual, started with a bang then went missing.

He has been out of the team for a while, reinstated and scored a brace.

Well, lets face it, we are definitely going to give away at least one goal and likely more. Can we score more than we concede? I suspect a score draw is on the cards but as we know with Pools, anything can happen.

well it had to happen some time. it will now make him feel a real part of the club to sustain an injury.

By all accounts it's going to be a fast game with Mr Speedie as the referee

Half a dozen corners to Pools in the first quarter of an hour but alas not a single chance from any of them.

A truly awful referee by the way. Overall lots of huffing and puffing along with a generally positive approach but not a single chance up to now.

I was pleased to switch my tranny off at the end of the match and watch what remained of Real Madrids thumping of another club in freefall.

Like a lot of people, I'd seen enough when the Newport goal went in. Not a prayer that Pools were coming back with an equaliser. Lot of swearing and disbelief at how pish poor Pools had been was the gist of comments on the way out.

I normally take defeats on the chin then move on but im still bouncing from last nites horrendous performance.
Seen loads of high scoring drubbings over the years but that last nite was in a league of its own.
3 massive problems at Pools.
1' The Chairman is clueless n greedy
2' The Manager and his tactics are equally as clueless. How hes made a living our of Football is a mystery Scooby doo n his crowd cudent solve.
The BS from this man is unreal.
3' The majority of our players are only here became nobody else wants them.

The future is bleak that's for sure.
Only positive for the new future is when Sing bails out is that the ground is council owned.
