Why can the club and Mr Singh and Curle stop feeding their customer (the supporters) such a load of BS and deliver what they have both said they would. Why now start saying they will accept offers for any players and named Sterry and Umerah probably our only players anyone would want. Why have these two players not been offered extended deals as per usual they will probably walk at the end of season on frees because of lack of gumption on the part of the clubs hierarchy. Congratulations Raj you will if things continue be the firrst man to have been at the helm of two clubs that have lost their league status.

I think Singhs comments at the weekend were stupid and only an attempt to get anyone listening back on side. Realistically we can enquire and bid for whoever but it doesn’t mean they’ll be coming, it’s an empty comment.
In an ideal scenario we’d be offering contracts to both Sterry and Umerah now but who’s to say they’d sign them when we have a high chance of being relegated. Sterry hated the national league and said so in the media regularly and Umerah has hit double figures in league 2 for a team who barely create chances. Luckily Umerah has another year on his contract so we will at least get a fee…

Sterry's current deal is up in the summer but Umerah's isn't.

The thing is raj has learnt with spin that he can convince a lot of fans he is spending on the team. Its funny he comes out and speaks to the fans every year or so, then things somehow get even worse. The lies need to end.

we are not going to get a top scorer from another club. better though getting a big defender who is good in the air to stop em going in at the other end. our goals against column tells youy everything. at least defenders come cheaper than goal scorers so pools will like that idea.

Exactly we don’t need a striker, a decent central defender, I don’t think Hartley is the answer.

The damage done will take more than one window to fix. The summer will be a complete gutting of the team (which is par for the course with Pools), with the only decent players tapped up - and the dross sent on their way.

It’s not just a case of us being incapable to attract good players, we also can’t for love nor money retain them. Something is seriously off if we are going out, matching offers & offering huge wage increases and players are still turning us down… makes no sense unless of course the club is an avoid at all costs for any self respecting league 2 professional. Nothing - and I mean nothing - good ever stays with Pools, harsh but true. Hopefully one day we will catch our break again (IOR-esque). There was something apt about us celebrating our equaliser yesterday, only to be struck down within minutes with the winner. You’ve got to be hard to support Pools - what a journey it is, but for all the wrong reasons. Never normal though, at least.

Dolan looked way off it yesterday and the less said about Hartley the better. They are edging on the side of ‘has-beens’. I also thought across the board we looked unfit yesterday. It’s sad, but this club and team will be in the national league next year, the question is just whether we finish bottom or second bottom now. Painful to watch.

The team just don’t look like a team, they appear to be free range players who act like they all met for the first time two hours before kick off.

I thought Lee could have done a decent job if he had a decent assistant maybe even Sweeney but he brought Nelson in who was as much use as a chocolate fireguard, I think he cost Lee his job.

Lee would have kept us up. Purely through normal recruitment, not the Scottish experiment. I bet he laughs at our demise…

We had a creative goalscoring midfielder in Gavan Holohan, we gave him away. We had a capable forward, winger and attacking midfielder in Luke Molyneux, we gave him away. We had a great defender in Gary Liddle, took an offer no man would refuse, but we never replaced him.
