All that bullshit, week after week, of getting through to the January Transfer Window then he would be able to put together his own team. I think he assumes we are all dummies. His record is hardly better than Hartley's. I know we have won a handful but performances have hardly improved and the dross we are left with are so short of confidence I can't see where our next win could come from. He has certainly joined the Pools Hall of Fame and sits proudly next to Mick Docherty,Bob Moncur, Viv Busby and Paul Hartley. If he has any self respect he should do the decent thing and go now.

I'm on exactly the same page as you with the terrible four - but not sure I would add Curle's name to it just yet. He's pissed everybody off with his cockiness ("I'm a great salesman") and laughably misplaced optimism about this transfer window. But I'm not sure that many could have done better with the hopeless, unbalanced squad he inherited from Hartley and the constant run of injuries he's had since he took over. There were 3 more added to the list just last week.

Who's out there that anyone could guarantee would do better, with 3 months of the season left? Ruling out the people who would even never look at it (like Tony Mowbray getting name checked in the summer!) and people who've been out of work for years like Ronnie Moore? There's Tony Sweeney I suppose, but he lost 4 league games on the spin after Challinor left last season so that would be taking a big chance too.

My biggest gripe about this situation is... KC came in and did inherit the biggest pile of dogshit hes probably ever had to deal with as a manager - i can only imagine the thoughts crossing his mind during those first training sessions - add to that one of our best players being injured (Sterry)... and i think Mayo not long after too.... but what did he do.. try an inject some sort of goal threat in the Robinson signing when there was clearly a need for defenders ! there was decent enough lads out the game at the time that would of been better than what we had... hell Rochdale have just went and signed one now after all this time!

then the Missilou thing .. again shite... ano we were lacking in the center of the park but a CB again was still priority ... rather play 5 at the back and go for the draws than play players who arnt fit or good enough !

My worry is that there are plenty of ex League Players plying their trade in National & National North, albeit late 20's through early 30's who could do a good job for us. KC doesn't seem interested and I wonder whether the reason is that some of these older pro's will be doing their coaching badges and he is worried that someone might take his job before the season ends.
