Can't find any mention of this. Anyone know if anything is being said by anyone anywhere? Is it not as bad as first thought? Is he out for the season? Is it too early to say? Has he gone for a scan? Just wondering as he is a very important player for us particularly if Hartley keeps playing like he did last night.

Some people on here overrate Menayese. He’s no better than our other defenders.

I'd play Sterry right centre half, least he's a good defender

I don’t underrate him. I just don’t rate him at all.

He stood out like a sore thumb alongside Murray + Tumility, how good he looks against Dodds & Sterry will be telling

Thought he didn,t look right last night.

KC said" its the same ankle as before, And he should have got rid of the ball quicker"
And continued to say "theres a lesson to be learned there"

He also said Tongue in cheek ( i think) he(KC) would have stopped the 3 goals.

so true. anyone would look good in comparison to those two and the reason lacey got away with stuff as he was not as bad as others.

You'd think we've all seen enough lower league centre backs to be able to place one on the spectrum from 'absolutely bloody useless' to 'will play at a higher level.' Meyanese has his faults - he still hasn't worked out that in a one-on-one it's better to get anything on a high ball - or block your opponent - than to wait for it to bounce. That aside, he's pretty decent and young enough to get better with experience. Reminds me of Odusina in some respects.

If his injury is as bad as it looked on Tuesday night we might not see him in a Pools shirt again.
